We were travelling around Israel from Haifa - Jerusalem - Tiberias- Eilat- and back to Telaviv. Doing nature walks - Timna Copper mine nature park - Dead sea swimming- Snorkelling at Eilat - Food in Israel was amazing. Food in Eilat was extra amazing Halev Harachav Steak House ,Ronnie looked after our group so well, can recommend this place

I mainly used it outside (for Dead Sea and Tel Aviv visits).
Without a GPS e.g. WAZE, a local GPS App., and Internet connection, it is NOT so easy to navigate around.
One good option is renting from SIXT, a Telephone (which can be also used for FREE local calls) with the App. that I referred to earlier (WAZE). It is fairly expensive though (~15$/day).
