We stayed in Essaouara. Visited the harbour, the beautiful beaches, the medina. All fantastic. No hassle from street vendors or market traders. Polite no thank you was always accepted. We went for a horse ride, my partner had never riden and was well looked after. Horses were amazing from the locals on the beach. Riad al Medina was excellent, lovely staff and food. Having the car gave us freedom to travel. Morocco is such a beautiful, safe, friendly country. From bustling tourist cities like Marrakech to pretty chilled out beach towns like Essaouara. Recommend to anyone.

Returning car wasn't a pleasant experience because guy wasn't there ,rang many times no answer we were getting late for check in finally he received call and said I can't come give car keys and documents to security guard in car park it was unexpected!! Was bit stressful how can you handle a car to unknown person without let him check. Then I brought an airport officer to be witness and then gave him keys and documents.
I wish it could be straight process now I'm thinking to hire car from desk in future.
