The drive over the Alps (southbound) and over the Dolomites (northbound) into Innsbruck is stunning. Do NOTplan to drive in any of the cities like Trieste, Innsbruck, Salzburg, or Ljubljana. It is very tight and tricky. Just catch the bus or tram
