Pros: I had an issue with Hertz car rental i did not get my rental i was told i am blacklisted by them over an offense i did in 2016 had they prepared my rental i think thy would have alerted me in time so I make alternate arrangements but I was only told on pick up which complicated my.life extremely.
Cons: Thrifty agree to refund one day fee because I return the car one day earlier due to airline fault flight rescheduled. To date I have not receive the refund

Cons: They did not give us the car we booked on arrival, becuase it was not available, even though we booked seven months in advance. We had flat trye and we had to pay 500N$ as administration fee

Pros: the car was exactly what I asked for, in good condition and very comfortable
Cons: The service was slow, the idea that we were charged for valeting a dusty car in Namibia is preposterous in view of the fact that there are only dirt roads! The deposit has not been refunded properly, even though we paid for the valeting charge separately. Not good enough overall.

Cons: The car had to be returned clean and there was no car washes working in the petrol stations in Windhoek Namibia. It proved a difficult task.

Cons: I have asked for a car with automatic gear and was given a manual one. Also, on return they didn’t give me the final invoice and I haven’t receiv e it yet
Pros: The car was provided as ordered, and suited our needs well
Cons: The car was registered in South Africa, and we were stopped at a police checkpoint 1 hour north of Windhoek. We were told we had to turn back as the entry permit for Namibia had expired that day. We had to drive an hour back to the Thrifty office to get an updated permit, costing us 2 hours out of our trip. This was totally irresponsible on the part of Thrifty. Also the GPS unit provided had not had the maps updated, as it couldn't find quite a few dirt roads. We had to rely on paper maps

Pros: This can be a good and bad thing at the same time because we found out there was no car available on arrival the one we booked. Thrifty was trying hard to find a good car for us, unfortunately we both fount hard to drive a manual car, and ended up getting suggested a better valued car than the one we actually booked. Thanks for suggesting with free upgrade.
Cons: The only problem of our vehicle was a poor air-conditioner. Thinking that day time in Namibia is pretty hot and dusty, you don't want to really open car windows to block dust from outside, but air conditioner didn't work properly and gave us a medium temperature breeze even if we set up max/cool full power. Other than that, we were satisfied with the most of the things.
Pros: Nothing.We felt fooled by the company.In order to make us accept the car they had available they lied about the car year model and its current usage.
Cons: I didn´t receive the car required and not even one in the same category.It was a double cabin pick up with a faulty canopy which didn´t lock properly and let a lot of dust in and ruined the cleaninless of my luggage. After some phone calls and 4 days in the contract the car was replaced by one that fit our requirements.
