Pros: Why to charge me extra cost? You never tell me you need to charge vehicle upgrade and this is because you haven’t my booked vehicle for me. Also the voucher value not match with DiscoverCars.

Cons: Staff not clear to tell me upgrade the vehicle needed additional charge and no one tell me how much! If needed charge we won’t agreed to upgrade. The upgrade is because thrifty no my booking car!

Pros: The car was as advertised

Cons: The amount we were charged for an additional driver was over double the amount we were advised over the phone. Apparently the amount was estimated. When we queried this on our return, "£40 or so" was meant to suggest that it was not confirmed and would be "there or there abouts". We ended up paying double as well as a "service charge" for a service we are still unclear on, that was also not quoted for. We have asked for this to be investigated but discover cars/thrifty are yet to respond.

Rate includes
Free cancellation with a full refund up to 48 hours before your pick-up time, Mileage: 750 km per rental, Collision Damage Waiver (deductible: € 1500.00), Theft Protection, Third Party Liability (TPL), Airport surcharge, Free modifications, State Tax.
Driver requirements
Minimum rental age is 25 years.
A Young driver fee is not applied.

There is no maximum age.
A senior driver fee applies to drivers over the age of 70.

The driver license must have been issued by authorized authorities at least 1 year(s) before the date of the commencement of the rental.

Driver licenses will be accepted if issued in the following country(ies): EU countries.
Otherwise, the renter must provide an International Driver Permit (IDP).
A driver license printed using a non-Roman alphabet (Arabic, Japanese, Cyrillic, etc) must be supplemented by an International Driving Permit.
Please note that the International Driving Permit is valid only if it is accompanied by a regular driver's license, is issued by an official authority or government-authorized organization, and is in physical (not digital) form.

In addition to documents mentioned previously, the customer will need the following: passport, valid driver license, credit card on a main drivers name, booking voucher.
Deposit and deductible policy

Optional extras and services
Available special equipment: Child seat (2-4 years of age), Booster seat (4-10 years of age).
Prices for extras are shown on the booking page.

Adding additional drivers is allowed.
There is an additional charge for each driver.
When picking up the vehicle, all drivers must be present and must provide valid documentation.

Certain additional drivers are subject to both an Additional Driver fee as well as either a Young Driver or Senior Driver fee.
Fuel policy
The vehicle is provided with a full tank of fuel and must be returned with the same amount in order to avoid additional charges.
Additional information
Winter tires are not mandatory in Spain.
Snow chains are recommended in icy/snowy conditions, especially when traveling in mountainous areas.
Business hours
Service outside of business hours is available by request and for an additional charge.
Period of time, during regular working hours, when the car is still guaranteed for the customer, if the customer is late for pick up (the grace period) is 30 minutes.
