Pick-up instructions
You will receive your rental vehicle at the Sixt branch, which is located in Terminal 1 at the parking area P1. If you arrive at Copenhagen Airport, simply follow the signs when you enter the arrival hall. Additionally, you will find signs that direct you towards the Clarion Hotel where a free shuttle bus service will transport you directly to the entrance of our branch. The transport will only take around 2-3 minutes. Alternatively, you can walk from Terminal 2/3 to Terminal 1, which will only take you about 12-15 minutes. In case you cannot find our shuttle bus or have questions regarding your rental, please do not hesitate to contact us at: 0045 32 462 944 or 0045 32 462 943. By public transport: If you arrive by metro, train or car, you simply follow the signs towards the Terminal 1, P1 area. You are also welcome to use the free shuttle bus service just outside the Clarion Hotel.
Drop-off instructions
When returning the rental car, please go to Terminal 1, P1 parking area. Here you will find a check-in area, which is located just across from where you got the rental car delivered. A free shuttle-bus service can take you back to the Terminal 2/3 area.

Pros: The car was clean, and the man who we dropped the car off with afterwards was lovely, understanding, pointed out the way for the shuttle bus and wished us a merry Christmas

Cons: The service (other than the gentleman where hire cars are dropped off) was appalling, two of the women being the desk were being very rude. I pointed out that this shouldn’t be costing £500 and still had the booking email as proof. I then said I had corresponded through DC and last I heard was “sixt is not responding to us but I’m assured the vehicle is available, you can discuss other options at the desk.” The assured vehicle wasn’t there at all. So had a 30 wait. 2 staff members extremely rude

Pros: They are usually very good above upgrading at no charge to a nicer car if available.

Cons: The shuttle bus was extremely full and we had to wait for quite a while before leaving for the terminal because at Copenhagen Airport the rental car shuttles wait on a schedule rather than leaving as soon as there are a reasonable number of passengers on board as at many airports. This isn't really Sixt's fault because I believe the bus is run by the airport, but it impacts the quality of the car rental experience and results in a delay in catching one's flight after returning the rental car.

Rental Conditions

Please check the Rental Conditions for each vehicle prior to booking as some conditions, particularly the deposit and deductible, may vary based on the class of vehicle.

Rate includes
Free cancellation with a full refund up to 48 hours before your pick-up time, Unlimited mileage, Loss Damage Waiver (damage deductible: ~€ 675.00), Roadside Assistance (in the country of pick-up), Third Party Liability (TPL), Airport surcharge, State Tax.
Rate excludes
An E-toll charge will apply; personal consumption will be charged separately at the end of the rental period.
Driver requirements
Minimum rental age is 20 years.
A young driver fee applies to drivers under the age of 26.

There is no maximum age.
A Senior driver fee is not applied.

The driver license must have been issued by authorized authorities at least 1 year(s) before the date of the commencement of the rental.

For vehicles in groups Standard, Luxury, Premium, Fullsize, Special a driver license issued at least 3 years ago is required.

Driver licenses will be accepted if issued in the following country(ies): United Kingdom, EU countries.
For driver licenses from countries not party to the Geneva / Vienna Convention on Road Traffic (e.g., China), an official translation of the license in the following language(s): English, together with the original license, must be presented.
A driver license printed using a non-Roman alphabet (Arabic, Japanese, Cyrillic, etc) must be supplemented by an International Driving Permit.
Please note that the International Driving Permit is valid only if accompanied by the regular driver license.

In addition to documents mentioned previously, the customer will need the following: valid driver license, credit card on a main drivers name, Passport or ID card, booking voucher.
In order to pick up the car, domestic renters must present the following documents: proof of home address (e.g. Utility bill).
Deposit and deductible policy
A deposit will be blocked on the customer's credit card until the end of the rental period.
The exact deposit is determined on pick up since the amount is dependent on the type of vehicle.

If the customer takes the following extra equipment: GPS Navigation system, Baby seat (up to 1 year of age), Child seat (2-4 years of age), Winter package, Mobile tablet, then an additional amount of deposit will be held on their credit card.
Payment policy
At time of pick up, customers will be required to pay the amount of the rental and a deposit.
It is possible to pay and leave the deposit only with the following payment methods: American Express, Diners, Eurocard, MasterCard credit card, VISA credit card.
For the Premium, Special car group, a minimum of two credit cards issued on the main driver's name are required.

Maestro, Cash, Debit cards, Prepaid cards is/are not accepted.
All credit cards must be capable of the following: PIN verification; cards without this capability will not be accepted.

The main driver must provide a physical payment card in their name with enough funds to cover the deposit to pick up the car. The rental company will neither accept virtual credit cards (e.g., GooglePay or ApplePay) nor someone else’s card (including family members).
Geographical restrictions
Cross border rentals are allowed only upon previous request.
Additional charges will be applied in case the car is crossing state or region borders.
Details are available from the car rental company's reservation office.
In the event that Cross Border & Territorial Restrictions are violated, all protections lose their validity.
Optional extras and services
Available special equipment: GPS Navigation system, Baby seat (up to 1 year of age), Child seat (2-4 years of age), Booster seat (4-10 years of age), Winter tires, Toll pass / E-toll device, Cross border fee.

Adding additional drivers is allowed.
There is an additional charge for each driver.
Underage additional drivers are subject to both Young Driver and Additional Driver fees.
When picking up the vehicle, all drivers must be present and must provide valid documentation.

Delivery/Collection service is available only by previous request. Additional charges will be applied.
Fuel policy
The vehicle is provided with a full tank of fuel and must be returned with the same amount in order to avoid additional charges.

Alternatively, the renter may purchase a tank full of fuel at the time of rental and return the tank empty.
In no case will a refund be given for unused fuel.
Rental period
The maximum rental period per agreement is 30 days.
If the renter would like to extend the rental period, renter should return to the car hire office at the end of the rental period to sign a new agreement.
Business hours
Service outside of business hours is available by request and for an additional charge.
Period of time, during regular working hours, when the car is still guaranteed for the customer, if the customer is late for pick up (the grace period) is 30 minutes.
