Cons: Agent rude, not welcoming or friendly, rolling eyes when I asked for some clarity, advised any claims could take 6-12 months on 3rd parties (yours in this case) in an attempt to provide sixt cover. Car was fine, and same person on collection was there for drop off and tbf was much more of what I'd expect, pleasant and asked how i found the car, made some friendly small talk. Shame about the experience on collection

Cons: After returning the car, The amount reserved on my credit card should be cancelled but after more than a week and spending a mail to Sixt, the credit card has still the reservation amount. This should not take this long and no response on my mail for clarification gives me a negative feeling
Pros: Service provided by SIXT - excellent but cost of car hire in Ireland now is very expensive.
Cons: Airco was not working for which i paid extra. Extremely annoying during the heatwave

Cons: Flight arrived early and car was ready but wouldn't allow us to take it without paying for a whole day extra. (wouldn't have minded paying for an extra couple of hours)
Pros: Nice friendly respectable humane desk staff on pick up. No scare tactics or pressure selling of extra insurances, but explained the massive deposit blocked on card for CDW excess. Even when contacted the Sixt CS or desk staff later they seemed trying to help at least. Car booked was not available but the size of the replacement (and choice) was acceptable. Car was clean inside and out. Car had A/C. Given with a full tank of fuel to return full.
Cons: Car had too many damages including wheel arch trim from one side missing. Bottom of the range model- no cruise control or climate control. Mileage high (43,000KM). It was embarrassing to arrive in damaged car in big social events. Boot lid broken. 3 floor rugs missing. Many other damages. Poor desk staff on returning. Man hardly spoke. No receipt for key/ car return. No pickup inspection form or return inspection. No email receipt even a week later. Some big damages not in agreement
Pros: Brand new car
Cons: We left the car at drop off and no one came to inspect it and never got a receipt later on. I had to contact customer service for a receipt and hope it was correct. that took a couple of days

Cons: I think the cleanliness of cars should be a priority. Especially the inside of the windscreen as it can be dangerous if the sun shines and you can't see. Not everyone flying into Cork airport carries a cleaning cloth!

A young driver fee applies to drivers under the age of 25.
There is no maximum age.
A Senior driver fee is not applied.
The driver license must have been issued by authorized authorities at least 4 year(s) before the date of the commencement of the rental.
Renters aged under 25 and over 75 must provide a note in the following language(s): English from their protection company showing that there have been no driving accidents for 1 year(s).
Driver licenses will be accepted if issued in the following country(ies): United Kingdom, EU.
Driver licenses from all other countries must be accompanied with International Driving Permit (IDP).
For driver licenses from countries not party to the Geneva / Vienna Convention on Road Traffic (e.g., China), an official translation of the license in the following language(s): English, together with the original license, must be presented.
UK customers must bring their DVLA check code along with their photo ID. This check code can be obtained from the DVLA website.
In order to pick up the car, the renter and each additional driver must present the following documents: passport, valid driver license, ID card, credit card on a main drivers name.
The exact deposit is determined on pick up since the amount is dependent on the type of vehicle.
The following credit cards issued on the main driver's name are accepted: American Express, Eurocard, MasterCard credit card, VISA credit card. Any other cards or cash payments are not accepted.
For the Standard, Luxury, Premium, Fullsize, Special car group, a minimum of two credit cards issued on the main driver's name are required.
All credit cards must be capable of the CHIP and PIN verification; cards without this capability will not be accepted.
The main driver must provide a physical payment card in their name with enough funds to cover the deposit to pick up the car. The rental company will neither accept virtual credit cards (e.g., GooglePay or ApplePay) nor someone else’s card (including family members).
Additional charges will be applied in case the car is crossing state or region borders.
Written permission from the rental company is required.
In the event that Cross Border & Territorial Restrictions are violated, all protections lose their validity.

Adding additional drivers is allowed.
There is an additional charge for each driver.
Underage additional drivers are subject to both Young Driver and Additional Driver fees.
When picking up the vehicle, all drivers must be present and must provide valid documentation.
Delivery/Collection service is available within city limits. Additional charges will be applied, depending on the distance.
Alternatively, the renter may purchase a tank full of fuel at the time of rental and return the tank empty.
In no case will a refund be given for unused fuel.
If the renter would like to extend the rental period, renter should return to the car hire office at the end of the rental period to sign a new agreement.
Period of time, during regular working hours, when the car is still guaranteed for the customer, if the customer is late for pick up (the grace period) is 59 minutes.
