Pros: Ok, frendly especially when returning the car

Cons: The car I got was an SUV that was extremely difficult to drive, especially if you tried to go over 70 km/h. This was due to the car's cubic shape and the fact that the engine was unacceptably weak. It couldn't get up big hills or mountains. There was always a very long line of cars behind it. In strong winds it felt like it couldn't handle the road.

Pros: Not much, suggest you drop them.

Cons: Car's air conditioner was not working and they had no suggestions for a fix apart from trying to swap it over at any one of their 2 Auckland locations but given that was a 300 km's round trip out of our way we choose not to take up this "offer".

Pros: Excellent car! Better than expected. The only problem I came across is upon returning the vehicle as it was at a different airport. Poor signposting, very vague directions. Spent more than 30 mins circling Auckland airport.

Cons: Not much of a service, to be fairly honest. However, the car was really good and surpassed our expectations. Thank you.

Pros: The main staff agent ( a guy) at the counter was derisive in his manner, because I had booked through you not them directly. Also unhelpful when I realised I had an ev but had wanted a hybrid. Unwilling to think about options other than to re book with them at a high price.

Cons: Poor signage for car return at Auckland Airport. Car seats were not clean when we picked them up, would expect the covers to be removed and washed in between customers but they had lots of stains and full of crumbs

Cons: The counter was very busy and I needed to be on the road. having the wrong car there for me meant I needed to take a different vehicle they had there. I have tried to sort this out with them after the event but they haven-t even called me to discuss the issue. Just emails to say I signed the contract??????

Free cancellation with a full refund up to 48 hours before your pick-up time, Unlimited mileage, Loss Damage Waiver (damage deductible: ~€ 3255.00), Third Party Liability (TPL), Free modifications.

An administrative charge of 2.24 % will apply for payments made using the following card(s) MasterCard, Visa, American Express.
An administrative charge of 3.45 % will apply for payments made using the following card(s) Diners.

The following surcharges may apply: Toll pass / E-toll device, Premium Location surcharge.
Driver requirements
Minimum rental age is 21 years.
A young driver fee applies to drivers under the age of 25.

There is no maximum age.
A Senior driver fee is not applied.

The driver license must have been issued by authorized authorities at least 1 year(s) before the date of the commencement of the rental.

The driver license must be written in English alphabet.
In addition to the regular driver license, an International Driving Permit is also mandatory if the driver license is written in a language other than that of the renting country and/or in characters that cannot be read in the renting country.
Please note that the International Driving Permit is valid only if accompanied by the regular driver license.

In addition to documents mentioned previously, the customer will need the following: passport, credit card on a main drivers name, booking voucher, flight information, full G driver license.
Deposit and deductible policy
A deposit will be blocked on the customer's credit card and will be released within 30 days after drop-off.
The exact deposit is determined on pick up since the amount is dependent on the type of vehicle.

If the customer takes the following extra equipment: GPS Navigation system, Baby seat (up to 1 year of age), Child seat (2-4 years of age), Booster seat (4-10 years of age), Ski rack, Snow chains, then an additional amount of deposit will be held on their credit card.
Payment policy
At time of pick up, customers will be required to pay the amount of the rental and a deposit.
It is possible to pay and leave the deposit only with the following payment methods: Diners, MasterCard credit card, VISA credit card, American Express credit card.
Cash, Cheques, Debit cards, Prepaid cards is/are not accepted.

The main driver must provide a physical payment card in their name with enough funds to cover the deposit to pick up the car. The rental company will neither accept virtual credit cards (e.g., GooglePay or ApplePay) nor someone else’s card (including family members).
Cross-border policy
Moving the car from one island to another is forbidden.
Details are available from the car rental company's reservation office.
It is forbidden to drive to some locations in the country as well as on some specific roads. For more information, please contact the rental office.
Optional extras and services
Available special equipment: GPS Navigation system, Baby seat (up to 1 year of age), Child seat (2-4 years of age).
Prices for extras are shown on the booking page.

Adding additional drivers is allowed.
There is an additional charge for each driver.
Underage additional drivers are subject to both Young Driver and Additional Driver fees.
When picking up the vehicle, all drivers must be present and must provide valid documentation.

Delivery/Collection service is available within city limits. Additional charges will be applied, depending on the distance.
Fuel policy
The vehicle is provided with a full tank of fuel and must be returned with the same amount in order to avoid additional charges.
Business hours
Service outside of business hours is available by request and for an additional charge.
