Elephant Rent A Car
The dwarf elephant of Cyprus became extinct about 12,000 years ago, but this company is still going strong, being one of the main providers of rental vehicles on the eastern Mediterranean island. The company was founded in 1989 and has grown to be one of the largest car rental companies in the country with a fleet of more than 300 vehicles of various types. The company is still a family-run enterprise. Elephant has offices in Paphos, Larnaca, and Limassol.
Elephant is extremely highly rated by our customers, receiving top marks for practically all aspects of its services. It’s no surprise, therefore, that it won our Excellent Car Rental Service Award in 2023 and 2024 for both Larnaca Airport and Paphos Airport.
Elephant, like almost all car rental companies in the Republic of Cyprus, doesn’t allow its vehicles to be taken to Northern Cyprus due to insurance reasons. The company will deliver a vehicle to almost any place in the southern part of the country, though.
