Cons: I gave him a credit/debit company card with no limit, which i am using all over the world to rent cars, and he refused even run it through because he read the small word debit on the card I ended up renting from Europecar with zero problem of course! It was just ridiculous and annoying

Pros: Not much. Nobody was at the desk when we arrived.

Cons: When I rent a car of 112 euro's, i don't expect to pay tripple with insurance included. The moment I chose the car I think they took a car with lots of damage. This is just insurance fraud!! I rent cars for years on my holidays (>5 trips a year) and never had a damage as we use a car as it is our own, we take the insure to take away the risk of a stone in the window or an accident. We felt very abused and now for sure that we will never go autovia/ecovia again.

Pros: My flight was delayed. When I arrived at the counter at 23:05 the gentleman informed me that the system automatically shut at 23:00 and other than rent another car (somehow) for 3 times the price including an out of office fee there was nothing he could do

Cons: The rep was less than helpful and it felt that he just wanted to rip me off. He knew my flight was late and when it arrived. He could have waited

Cons: Very slow on collection approximately 1hr to collect and on return was quick but I've been accused of not returning fully fuelled. They are definitely looking at the wrong car as the email stated you returned yesterday but I in fact only returned it 30 minutes before the email was sent informing me I hadn't refuelled the car. Not impressed

Rate includes
Free cancellation with a full refund up to 48 hours before your pick-up time, Unlimited mileage, Collision Damage Waiver (deductible: € 1760.00), Theft Protection, Roadside Assistance (in the country of pick-up), Third Party Liability (TPL), Airport surcharge, Premium Location fee, Road tax, Environmental charge, VAT (value added tax), Free modifications.
Driver requirements
Minimum rental age is 19 years.
A young driver fee applies to drivers under the age of 25.

There is no maximum age.
A senior driver fee applies to drivers over the age of 75.

The driver license must have been issued by authorized authorities at least 1 year(s) before the date of the commencement of the rental.

Driver licenses will be accepted if issued in the following country(ies): United Kingdom, EU.
The driver license must be written in Latin alphabet.
Otherwise, the renter must provide an International Driver Permit (IDP).
Please note that the International Driving Permit is valid only if it is accompanied by a regular driver's license, is issued by an official authority or government-authorized organization, and is in physical (not digital) form. The International Driving permit must be a physical one; a digital version will not be accepted.

In order to pick up the car, the following documents are required: passport, valid driver license, credit card on a main drivers name, booking voucher, flight information. Renters from the following country(ies): Italy must provide the following documents: proof of home address (e.g. Utility bill) in order to collect the car.
Deposit and deductible policy

Cross-border policy
Cross border rentals are allowed only upon previous request.
Information on the exact fee amount is available by request.
Crossing country borders is allowed to the following countries: Austria, Belgium, Croatia, France, Germany, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Slovenia, Spain-Mainland, Switzerland, San Marino.

In the event that Cross Border & Territorial Restrictions are violated, all protections lose their validity.
Optional extras and services
Available special equipment: GPS Navigation system, Baby seat (up to 1 year of age), Booster seat (4-10 years of age), Ski rack.

During winter season (from 01.10 until 15.04) Snow chains are included in price.
Delivery/Collection service is available within city limits. Additional charges will be applied, depending on the distance.
Fuel policy
The vehicle is provided with a full tank of fuel and must be returned with the same amount in order to avoid an additional charge per liter/gallon of missing fuel plus a 25 EUR refueling service charge.
Additional information
By law, winter tires are mandatory on all roads from 15.10 to 15.04 in the following regions: Aoasta-Valley.

Snow chains are recommended in icy/snowy conditions, especially when traveling in mountainous areas.

Service outside of business hours is available by request and for an additional charge.


If the customer is late for a return for more than 60 minutes, extra day charges will apply, in addition to any other rental charges. The supplier will hold the vehicle for 59 minutes after your scheduled pick-up time as long as it is within their normal business hours. After this time, your booking may be canceled without refund.
