Cons: The car was not clean, crisp remnants all over the floor and around the gearbox and a sticky steering wheel. When we dropped the car back, they checked for damage etc and the car was deemed completely fine. We were chatting to the man who was inspecting it and in general conversation we mentioned we’d taken out insurance from discover cars. As we were leaving, they then supposedly found a stone chip on the bonnet even though they’d said the car was fine. Very suspicious. Appalling service

Pros: Easirent overall was a breeze. The car was brand new and had no issues and it was a smooth drop off.
Cons: The price was far too exspensive and I had issues getting picked up as you have to call and I didn’t have a UK SIM card and had to ask someone.

Also really dislike when firms do not apply full-to-full fuel tank options - I overspent by a significant amount (as it seems there was a problem with the fuel gauge) to try and get back to a half-full tank per pick-up level. Much better experience for the customer to do full to full policy.

Cons: I had booked to pick the car up at 8 but the guy who sorts out the paperwork arrived 15 minutes late and didnt even apologies or acknowledge his lateness. Although, he did get through the paperwork quickly. The person who was responsible for showing me the car was great, he showed me how to use it and gave me all the relevant information. The car itself was in a bad condition as it was all scratched up and had dents everywhere. But not really an issue as the car drove fine.
Pros: Ranked them neutral as they had no cars available had given my car away and said it was because it wasn't pre paid and we then get into who is to blame.
Cons: As with a cheap car rental venue that's been subcontracted out, extra charges were applied which made my rental price quoted online go up 600%. very poor service from the staff who could not care less. Cons: when picking up the car still had to present paper copies of allinfo sent online. also asked for national insurance no to check the points on driving license. This was not highlighted in the info required to bring to the pickup, on the second page of the voucher in the small print. This cost me a furthe half hour in going home to get this info so the agwnt could check my driving license. This important info should be highlighted as must bring info.

Staff at easirent stated it was in FAQ, however I have checked through the full website and it does not state this anywhere. This is not acceptable to charge a fee which is not stated.

Cons: When i arrived to pick up the car i was asked for proof of address other than my licesnse. This was not on the voucher under the documents needed to pick up the car. I didnt have what he was asking for. Then i was also asked for my national insurance number as well as a phone bill or other proof of address. I was not comfortable giving that kind of information it seemed suspicious to me. My national insurance number is a private document number.

For rentals of 30 days or more, mileage is limited to 500 miles per week.
For each additional mile an additional charge of 0.30 GBP per mile will apply.
Mileage limitations will apply if the car is to be used for crossing country borders.
Mileage is limited to 100 miles per day. For each additional mile an additional charge of 0.50 GBP per mile will apply.
A young driver fee applies to drivers under the age of 25.
Maximum rental age is 75 years.
A Senior driver fee is not applied.
The driver license must have been issued by authorized authorities at least 2 year(s) before the date of the commencement of the rental.
The driver license must be written in English alphabet.

Renters from the following country(ies): United Kingdom must provide the following documents: 2 proofs of home address (e.g. Utility bill) in order to collect the car. The following document(s): proof of home address (e.g. Utility bill) must not be older than 3 months.
UK customers must bring their DVLA check code along with their photo ID. This check code can be obtained from the DVLA website.
In order to pick up the car, the following documents are required: passport, valid driver license, credit card on a main drivers name, booking voucher.
ID documents must be hard copies; documents held on mobile devices will not be accepted.
A local renter is defined as a renter who lives within 20 miles of the pickup location and who is not flying into town with a return ticket.
A deposit for a tank of fuel is required upon collecting the vehicle.

Adding additional drivers is allowed.
There is an additional charge for each driver.
Underage additional drivers are subject to both Young Driver and Additional Driver fees.
When picking up the vehicle, all drivers must be present and must provide valid documentation.
There is a charge of 10 GBP per day per driver.
Spouse is allowed for a decreased charge of 7GBP per day.
Delivery/Collection service is available only by previous request.
The vehicle is provided with a full tank of fuel, and pre-payment is requested.
If the car is returned with a lesser amount of fuel, a refueling charge of 11.40 GBP will be applied + the cost of the missing fuel. In no case will a refund be given for unused fuel.
In case of renting at the airport location, the customer must provide a valid flight number in order to make a reservation.
Period of time, during regular working hours, when the car is still guaranteed for the customer, if the customer is late for pick up (the grace period) is 59 minutes.
If the customer is late for a return for more than 29 minutes, extra day charges will apply, in addition to any other rental charges.
