Bidvest, now known as Bluu, is a car rental company based in South Africa. Bluu is one of the oldest car rental companies in South Africa — it has been operating for more than 50 years. The company is a joint venture between Thesele Group, Hallmark Motor Group and Mortimer Motor Group. Thesele Group is an investment company. Hallmark Motor Group specializes in selling used cars. Mortimer Motor Group is a car dealership. With this team behind it, Bluu is able to provide an excellent rental experience for its customers from its customer service all the way through to its fleet of vehicles.
In 2021, the company changed its name to Bluu Car Rental. Soon after, Bluu would open its first location outside of South Africa in neighboring Namibia.

Bluu Car Rental’s vehicles come with an e-toll sticker for use on the toll roads in Gauteng. This doesn’t work for toll roads outside of that province where you have to stop at a physical booth though.
