Cons: The car was provided with two pneumatics in disastrous condition. I didn't realize at first but then I had to stop at the mechanic to change one. Even if I had paid for full insurance, the company did not want to cover for the expense. They promised to reimburse at the moment of drop off. So I anticipated the money. Then they refused to pay me back. So practically they gained a new pneumatic at my expenses.

Pros: Pick-up was hassle free. The pick-up location was very close to our hotel in the Marrakech medina. The agent provided me with all the information, and did not ask me to buy additional insurance (I hate it when they make you feel bad for not taking insurance...). All damages on the car had already been photographed and recorded electronically, and I got a copy of them via email. And for a great price!!

Cons: The car itself was only in OK shape - lots of scratches and even some small burn holes in the upholstery. That's just cosmetic though. The windshield wipers were not good at all though. Thankfully it did not rain (much) during our trip; in the future, I'll check the windshield wipers before driving out of the rental. AutoUnion does not have a permanent office in our drop-off location, the Rabat airport. This was not pointed out clearly.

Pros: Our rental agent was an absolute gem, kind, helpful & went out of his way to upgrade the vehicle knowing we wanted to go into the mountains. He hailed us a taxi once we dropped the car back and gave us sound advice on getting to our riad safely.

Cons: The car we hired wasn't in very good condition. Lots of bumps and scrapes and the services light as well as the tyre pressure warning lights were on throughout.

Pros: Our car was great and our trip through Morocco was greatly aided by it.. The staff at pickup was great and the staff Yassine at drop off was super helpful and terrific.. I would absolutely rent from these folks again!!

Cons: I discovered by accident that our spare tire was flat! This could have been a huge issue!! I went to a local tire shop and had the valve stem replaced for 50 cents and it was fine - But the thought of being a couple of hours away from a city with no spare was pretty chilling..

Pros: Although the company name was unknown to me, they were professional, nice and efficient. For car handover they use a weproov app where they make pictures and send you a report marking all the currents scrapes on the car. Same in the end. We went to Sahara with three kids and the car was honestly full of sand mixed with breadcrumbs and they very politely with worries faces suggested they should charge as a €10 fee which I thought was more than fair, for what we brought back 😬

Pros: Amazing dealer , Abdemalek took care of everything, was available at any time, working on distance in very efficient way. Autounion use an amazing app that takes photos on the pickup and compare it to the photos in the drop time, reporte is sent by email immediately.

Free cancellation with a full refund up to 48 hours before your pick-up time, Unlimited mileage, First additional driver, Additional driver, Collision Damage Waiver (deductible: ~€ 1050.00), Theft Protection, Roadside Assistance (in the country of pick-up), Third Party Liability (TPL), Airport surcharge, Free modifications, State Tax.
Driver requirements
Minimum rental age is 23 years.
A Young driver fee is not applied.

Maximum rental age is 80 years.
A Senior driver fee is not applied.

The driver license must have been issued by authorized authorities at least 1 year(s) before the date of the commencement of the rental.

A driver license printed using a non-Roman alphabet (Arabic, Japanese, Cyrillic, etc) must be supplemented by an International Driving Permit.
Driver licenses will be accepted if issued in the following country(ies): United Kingdom, EU countries.
Driver licenses from all other countries must be accompanied with International Driving Permit (IDP).
Please note that the International Driving Permit is valid only if accompanied by the regular driver license.

In addition to documents mentioned previously, the customer will need the following: passport, valid driver license, credit card on a main drivers name, booking voucher.
Deposit and deductible policy

Payment policy
At time of pick up, customers will be required to pay the amount of the rental and a deposit.
It is possible to pay and leave the deposit only with the following payment methods: MasterCard credit card, VISA credit card.

The main driver must provide a physical payment card in their name with enough funds to cover the deposit to pick up the car. The rental company will neither accept virtual credit cards (e.g., GooglePay or ApplePay) nor someone else’s card (including family members).
Optional extras and services
Available special equipment: GPS Navigation system, Baby seat (up to 1 year of age), Child seat (2-4 years of age), Booster seat (4-10 years of age), Snow chains.
Prices for extras are shown on the booking page.

Adding additional drivers is allowed.
There is an additional charge for each driver.
When picking up the vehicle, all drivers must be present and must provide valid documentation.

The first additional driver is allowed free of charge. Delivery/Collection service is available only by previous request.
Delivery/Collection service is available within city limits. Additional charges will be applied, depending on the distance.
Fuel policy
The vehicle is provided with a certain amount of fuel and must be returned with the same amount in order to avoid additional charges.
Rental period
The maximum rental period is without limitations.
Business hours
Service outside of business hours is available by request and for an additional charge.
Period of time, during regular working hours, when the car is still guaranteed for the customer, if the customer is late for pick up (the grace period) is 120 minutes.
