Pros: Brand new car, full tank and very clean. It was a pick up and it had no way of closing the boot, which I had enquired before arrival but got no answer. I dont remember reading in terms and conditions that rentals in Panama have an added 3USD/day extra charge for the “Panapass” which allows you to pass toll roads without stopping at the tool gate. It would be nice if the informed before the rental and gave you the option as we could have driven all the rental period without using toll roads.

Cons: Agent was the worst I have ever dealt with. rude and obnoxious. Stated they did not have the car or similar that I requested and expected me to except a lower grade car for the same price and there was no car even available at that time and I would have to wait another hour. this is already an hour after the booked time. It is only that I continuous refused to accept this that miraculously the car I requested was magically available. He tried to over charge on multiple items included in booking

Pros: New and very clean car. Android Phone on the screen.

Cons: I expected to pay roughly 300 USD, but at the car rental desk I got the paper to sign bearing the sum of almost 700 USD!!!! When booking, there was completely no information about obligatory insurance. There was a stupid payment for Panapass as well. I had to pay for everyday activation, even if I didn't want to use motorways. And in case of usage, there was an additional payment. Staff at pick-up was rude as well. Picking up the car was extremely unpleasant experience.

Rate includes
Free cancellation with a full refund up to 48 hours before your pick-up time, Unlimited mileage, Collision Damage Waiver (deductible: ~€ 1870.00), Theft Protection, Roadside Assistance (in the country of pick-up), Third Party Liability (TPL), Airport surcharge, Free modifications, State Tax.
Rate excludes
An E-Toll is offered in order to avoid violation fees.
If renter travels through a toll collection point, the renter’s credit card will be charged for the toll and an administration fee of 3.32 USD per cross.
Prepaid tolls are available for 9.63 USD per day.
Driver requirements
Minimum rental age is 22 years.
A young driver fee applies to drivers under the age of 25.

Maximum rental age is 82 years.
A Senior driver fee is not applied.

The driver license must have been issued by authorized authorities at least 1 year(s) before the date of the commencement of the rental.

Young drivers under the age of 25 who wish to rent a vehicle must purchase the following insurance type(s): Full Damage Waiver (FDW).

In order to pick up the car, the following documents are required: valid driver license, credit card on a main drivers name.
Deposit and deductible policy
Optional extras and services
Available special equipment: Baby seat (up to 1 year of age), Child seat (2-4 years of age), Wi-Fi, Toll device.
Prices for extras are shown on the booking page.

Adding additional drivers is allowed.
There is an additional charge for each driver.
Underage additional drivers are subject to both Young Driver and Additional Driver fees.
When picking up the vehicle, all drivers must be present and must provide valid documentation.


Fuel policy
The vehicle is provided with a full tank of fuel and must be returned with the same amount in order to avoid additional charges.
Rental period
The maximum rental period is without limitations.
If the renter would like to extend the rental period, renter should return to the car hire office at the end of the rental period to sign a new agreement.
Business hours
Period of time, during regular working hours, when the car is still guaranteed for the customer, if the customer is late for pick up (the grace period) is 720 minutes.
