Alamo at Muscat Airport

Pros: the staff at Muscat airport were extremely attentive and personable. they were also extremely helpful

Cons: when checking online for different dates and different services, the prices are excessive compared to what i just paid

Pros: Special Thanks for Faisal Albuloshi for his support and kind cooperation.

Pros: Flawless service right from the time of pickup at the airport to quick 5 min drop off and deposit realise.

Cons: Nothing

Pros: Staff were helpful and friendly

Cons: Their collision policy is unfair - higher than deposit and is enforced whether you're at fault or not

Pros: The worse experience ever. They give you wrong car and then they charge 100$ for car cleaning. Skip this

Pros: We loved it

Cons: Best customer service ever

Pros: car was clean

Cons: staff was very rude

Pros: Everything, efficient and professional

Pros: Friendly and helpful

Pros: Friendly and didn't feel like the customer was a nuisance

Cons: Collection paperwork was arduous

Pros: Very friendly and honest agents at airport counter and pickup locations.

Cons: Car was a Chinese model, nice outside looks but electronics were not great.

Cons: Restituire la macchina pulita

Cons: changed car for problem with engine, drived 1 hour, forgot refill fuel and payed a fee. not appreciate this thing

Pros: Quick and friendly

Pros: The car return process was smooth

Cons: Apple CarPlay was supposed to work, but didn’t. Car was really slow, and service date was near. The worst thing was: there were no car id card i the car. So we couldn’t cross the border like we had planned. So we lost a whole day and didn’t get any compensation what so ever.

Pros: Helpful

Cons: Provided a Chevrolet Traverse as a similar vehicle to the Toyota Prado booked which is not as capable on desert sand

Pros: We appreciate the upgrade from a Kia Sportage to a Toyota Fortuner from Alamo, however the car given to us is not a 4x4 or AWD which we have booked for. Furthermore, the car is underpower and feels like not moving when going up hill.

Pros: Everything ok. Professional service.

Pros: Very friendly and efficient staff.

Cons: Car was quite used, worned out tyres, not the make and type of the car that was specified.

Cons: Booking was cancelled, bumped price up x3

Pros: Car condition could be better. Petrol even though was showing full was actually not full tank

Pros: Enterprise and Alamo provided a very professional service. My reservation was well handled, making the vehicle pickup quick and smooth. The staff in charge of handing over the keys were also very friendly.

Cons: This is not related to the agency, but the signage for the vehicle return parking is poorly designed and confusing.

Pros: I was very impressed by the willingness of the staff at the Enterprise desk to assist us with a booking issue. They were very friendly and efficient - a perfect combination.

Cons: Nothing.

Pros: Inform upfront that the car need to be clean from customer side and that it cost a lot when the normal car wash needs to be done by the company.

Cons: More and better information a out the rent conditions. Some of them were not clear and cost us additional 300 dollars.

Cons: Service level could be better. We got a car with a key problem and could not start it on the second day of our rental. It took hours and four calls to the rental office until we got an exchange car. The second car was ok. Not very clean, but I guess, Alamo does not invest in cleaning cars and part of the contract is, that the customers need to clean the cars before returning them.

Cons: Policy of fee if returned dirty

Pros: They helped us very good. Very nice and friendly staff

Pros: Worst service. In spite of showing him the evidence of insurance payments, he still charged me for the insurance

Cons: Charged me £100 extra than what was the agreement

Pros: Great value for money for a new spacious car

Cons: The rental desk is in terminal which is great but only one agent and therefore we were waiting in the queue for a long time, more agents would make it more efficient

Cons: It’s ridiculous to pay almost 400€ ( more then I paid for the whole week rental) just to change the payment method (my credit card was expired)

Cons: They overcharged me. Though my booking was 100 percent prepaid

Pros: Nothing it was average at best.

Cons: Car had a very minor paint chip near the boot lid. They charged me the full access of £310 for this. Secondly the number plate was not registered. As a result I could not pay for parking as it was invalid. When I explained this to the employee when returning the car, he was adamant that I would be at fault for any tickets. How can I be at fault when I have proof of trying to make payment. Shocking! I will be making a claim as I was lucky enough to take out extra cover when booking the car.

Pros: Ended up paying twice for insurance. Once online and once on the kiosk. Other than that, great experience with the car. Car is was clean and very well maintained. Would definitely recommend

Pros: Very rude and attempting to sell multiple options on arrival in Muscat, a very frightening and un professional experience totally unexpected in a country like Oman.

Cons: Tried very hard to duplicate charges paid in the UK. Didn't receive the critical Sat Navigation we needed in a foreign country, driving on the opposite side of the road for the first time!

Pros: Nothing

Cons: They don't answer any of their phone numbers; when you finally find them they say the phone was 'on silent.' They con you into leaving a massive additional deposit that they then never return despite promises that they will.

Cons: Safety issues around tyre pressure gauge not working and showing hazard lights on all the time. Car provided dirty as hadn't been cleaned between rentals with rubbish inside. No water in the windscreen wipers and damaged undercarriage.

Pros: I had many issues. I cannot write it now as I am still on vacation.

Cons: I had many issues. I cannot write it now as I am still on vacation.

Pros: Alamo invoiced us for washing the car and for extra miles done. Never they told us to clean it Desappointed. We wait 2h to pick up the car

Cons: They couldn't check my condition which I already paid full insurance and requested insurance. Shen dropping car. Requested to pay cleaning fee.

Pros: Relatively new car

Pros: Hardback and pick up process simple.

Cons: None

Pros: Really good service, they are efficient and flexible when needed They changed the car to match our destination who was the desert

Cons: Nothing
