Airport travel guide

Clevland Hopkins International Airport is the largest and busiest airport in the state of Ohio. Cleveland is one of the main cities of the Rust Belt. And though it saw a deep decline after 1970, it has since reinvented itself. It is home to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and some stunning art and history museums. Don't let its reputation deter you, it is definitely a great city to be explored.

Allegiant, Frontier, and Spirit use Concourse A. Delta and Southwest use Concourse B. Air Canada, American, Jetblue, and United use Concourse C.
Location
Cleveland Hopkins International Airport is located about 14 miles southwest of Downtown Cleveland, a drive that takes 20 minutes without traffic. The airport is about 40 miles from Akron.

Car rental desks
All of the rental companies are located in the rental car facility. Customers have to take a shuttle from the Ground Transportation Center located on the northern end of the terminal. The shuttles run 24 hours a day all year round with the ride taking only about 5 minutes.
Keep in mind that when returning the car you need to go to the rental car facility which is in the opposite direction to the airport itself from most interstate exits.
Services and facilities
CLE has all the services and facilities one would expect from an airport of its size. There are many different restaurants and fast food places to choose from. There are also plenty of newsstands and vending machines where you can grab a snack. Each concourse has an ATM. There's also a USO lounge, mother's room, and a pet relief area.
Nearest gas station
When approaching the Car Rental Center from the west or east along I-480 or from the south along I-71, there is a BP station that you pass by just before the center. Unfortunately, gas is s always 15-20 cents more expensive there — but you could fill up earlier and just top off at it before dropping off your car.
There are also stations a little further away if you get off an exit earlier (no matter which direction you are coming from).
If approaching from the northeast along I-71 from downtown Cleveland, you'll have to exit the interstate before the airport to reach the Car Rental Center. There are three stations on the way all of which have prices that are normal for the area.
