Visited family. Ice cream in the Art Deco Nandini's Café in Largs was wonderful. Dean castle was fabulous, the younger members of the party had a great time. Homeland Spice in Saltcoats is the best Indian Restaurant I have ever visited, food was incredible and the service excellent.

Drove to the highlands from glascow and the car was smooth and fuel efficient, great roads past loch lomand, glen Coe, fort William, glen finnan, white beaches of arisaig, ferry over to Skye from mallaig, sky bridge to loch Ness and then the green loch in the cairngorms- great loop
