We stayed in a resort just outside Malaga with the family for 5 days/4 nights. As the flight was reasonably short from London this time is all you need to have the family together and enjoy relaxing and time out especially for the kids.
Weather was a little hit and miss but having hired a car at an affordable price you can explore the area and afford to go further afield rather than being stuck in a resort if it's a package holiday.
If you want to get the kids off their technology then short breaks away and making the best of any travel deals is the way to have the best of all worlds.
