We toured around the Yucatan region of Mexico, and whilst some people were sceptical of the safety of our trip, we had a great time visiting many mayan ruins and towns in the region with no issues. Our car, a Dodge SUV was great and we had no service issues at all.

Tulum is fab for the beach, local ruins and downtown. Valladolid was amazing - lots of colourful buildings and great food. Sian Ka’an was incredible and Isla Holbox was really relaxing too

Mexicans have some Crazy driving so be careful with intersections and round about, also often they go 20km about limits and lights off or overtaking both sides (cars on the left and bikes/motorbikes on the right). In case of accident don’t move the car and take pics/video as first if possible.
