Great car to drive, easy to handle and good fuel efficiency. Just be warned about traffic police in Mexico- if they stop you and ask for your passport or driving license, do not give it to them and insist on accompanying them to the station for formal charge or payment if there has been a transgression - often they’re just stopping tourists and looking for bribes. We got stopped on a quiet backroad in cancun on our way to the hotel the first night we arrived. The police man pulled us over and claimed we were travelling too fast (we were not), and took 2000 Mexican Pesos as payment to return my driving license and let us go. Nothing to do with the rental company of course, just general advice to tourists driving in Mexico!
