We had a Toyota economy car perfect for Romanias roads.You need a car really to appreciate all the hikes, remote monasteries etc.Highly recommend this car rental although the extra insurance is a bit steep.

The customer service is first-rate. I initially rented a car to drive in Romania only. At one point I decided to go to the Ukraine. I called them, it was arranged in literally 10 minutes. Then, when leaving, I forgot my driver's license in the car, they sent it via DHL to my place in France, got it three days later. One of the best experience from all the countries in which I have been travelling. Highly recommended!
