Klass Wagen at Cluj-Napoca Airport

Pros: Timeliness

Cons: The initial cost to rent the car was very good. When I got to the off airport rental site, I got the "hard" sell and was told by the Klass Wagen representative that I really should get the enhanced coverage option which would cost more than four times the initial price. Otherwise, I would be responsible for all scratches and each scratch would cost 700 euros. My question to Discover Car is why does it do business with Klass Wagen?

Pros: quick, efficient

Pros: Honesty, courtesy in every step of the rental, from the airport pickup to delivery phase.

Cons: Nothing, they deserve all the stars.

Cons: The agents are very rude. They put pressure on you to get their insurance. Even if I have it. I used the services of Klass Wages for more than 12 time, and the whole time was stressful. That was the last time I cooperated with Klass Wages.

Cons: It is a scam ... Low rental price then switched to selling supplemental insurance at inflated price. They quoted a daily insurance rate that was 7 times (!!!!) the daily car rental rate. When I declined they stated "this quoted rate could turn out to be very expensive after you return the car". At return, they claimed I damaged the car and are withholding my 2,000 EUR security deposit. The car was returned EXACLTY as I received it -- see attached photos.

Cons: Very defensive and negative attitude of some staff at collecting the car and I felt they were not applying the same thoroughness at picking up the car and its return. In the end it was OK, but it costed me an arm and a leg.

Pros: Car available, clean, good vehicle,great check in although the pick up service agent was quite surly.

Cons: curtness of agent on picking up-the vehicle.The charges if there was a scratch seemed excessive but maybe thats standard?

Pros: Pleasant experience with Klass Wagen! Good rates, good car, pick up and return went smoothly, the agent at the Cluj-Napoca office was very helpful and efficient. Would recommend and will definitely use again.

Pros: New and clean car, exact booked model was offered. Return process was quick and a nice agent took care of everything quickly.

Cons: The pickup experience was very unpleasant. The agent was extreamly admund to sell their full cover despite informing him that we have a cover already with discovercars. He said they will not refund the amount in his experience and if even a small scrath is made on car they will charge a big amount even if we had to use the spare tyre. We felt very uncomfortable and I kept thinking about the car throughout our trip rather than enjoying the trip. I would rather pay bit extra and avoid this company

Cons: If you don’t get their full insurance, because of the reviews on the internet, you get stressed that they will find some scratch that was there before and that you didn’t do. Also, picked up the car in the rain. We couldn’t properly inspect the car for scratches. But we personally didn’t have any problems with the company.

Pros: Even though I bought full coverage from Discover, Klass Wagen made it clear that if I don't get their insurance as well, they will make sure I pay more even if I have a small scratch and also unless I pay a lot, I will miss my flight

Pros: When we dropped off the car the guy was very friendly, checked the vehicle immediately, and released us quickly.

Cons: When we arrived to pick up the car the guy who we talked to tried to sell us the insurance they provide in an aggressive manner, he also claimed that the 3rd party insurance we paid for at Discovercars will not cover anything.

Cons: They basically tried to charge me twice the amount because I had the 'wrong' card. So let's be clear here: what they do, is they ask you to either have a credit card (not debit like it's usually the case in France) or to buy their 'full package' insurance. If you refuse to take the full package and you actually have a credit card, they will take 1500€ deposit. When you gonna give the car back, they will be super vigilant to every small details and try to charge you for that.

Cons: We were told on arrival that the full insurance we had taken out with Discover Cars was essentially useless, and that we needed additional insurance purchased direct.

Pros: Very efficient

Cons: The issue regarding the insurance policy. I feel the responsibility lays on DiscoveryCars that is not clear about it, since your insurance does not make it easier for customers if we have any issue with the car. So of course we paid for the KlassWagen insurance in order to avoid all trouble related to the car, and I wish DiscoveryCars had been more clear about it so that we avoid paying for the DiscoveryCars insurance

Cons: Rental agents and their way of imposing unwanted services.

Pros: Everything was fast. The car was in good condition. No problems.

Cons: I lost some money between the broker and the rental company.

Cons: Extra fees (mandatory extra insurance) and the fact that you have to call them to pick you up at the airport.

Pros: The price was good and the location convenient.

Cons: Unprofessional hard push for their own insurance combined with the car supplied having 25 locations of damage in their existing waver. They referred to the insurance provided by discoverers.com using expletives.

Cons: The car rental agents tried to trick us!Wanted us to pay a lot of extra for insurrance (this was not on the site when we payed for the car), our only other option was to pay a large deposit for the car. When we gave the car back the agent found bumps underneath the car!! and a dot on the windshield (the other agent didnt note them when we picked up the car). Lucklily I took pictures -they didnt- and could proove that was not our fault, otherwise the deposit would be thiers.
