You will pick up your rental car at the Sixt counter, which is located directly in the Arrival Hall in the Swiss part of the Euroairport. In order to get there, please take the exit SWITZERLAND at the Passport Control. By car: You can find us even faster by using our GPS coordinates: 47.598520, 7.534540 From Basel/witzerland: Follow the signs pointing the direction to the Euroairport Basel-Terminal/Arrival/Car rental. From Mulhouse/France: Take the highway A35 leading to Basel, pass the Swiss customs, take the next exit on the right side just after the custom and follow the sign for Euroairport Basel-Terminal/Arrival/Car rental. By public transportation: The bus station is located directly in front of the Arrivall hall (going / coming from Basel downtown and the SBB Basel main train station).
Drop-off instructions
The cars have to be returned on the marked parking spaces on the Swiss part of the Euroairport. Coming from Germany/France you need to cross the Swiss customs and then follow the signs pointing to the Euroairport. Once arrived at the Euroairport follow the signs "Car Rental Return".

Free cancellation with a full refund up to 48 hours before your pick-up time, Unlimited mileage, Loss Damage Waiver (damage deductible: ~€ 2660.00), Tire & Glass Coverage, Third Party Liability (TPL), Premium Location fee, Road tax, Free modifications, State Tax.
Driver requirements
Minimum rental age is 19 years.
A young driver fee applies to drivers under the age of 25.
There is no maximum age.
A Senior driver fee is not applied.
The driver license must have been issued by authorized authorities at least 1 year(s) before the date of the commencement of the rental.
For vehicles in groups Compact, Standard, Intermediate a driver license issued at least 2 years ago is required. For vehicles in groups Premium, Fullsize, SUVs a driver license issued at least 3 years ago is required. For vehicles in groups Luxury, Special a driver license issued at least 10 years ago is required.
Driver licenses from non-EU countries (except Switzerland) are accepted if no visa has been entered in the passport.
All non-EU residents staying in the EU for longer than 6 months must present a driving licence from an EU country. A driver license printed using a non-Roman alphabet (Arabic, Japanese, Cyrillic, etc) must be supplemented by an International Driving Permit.
For driver licenses from countries not party to the International Driving Permit treaty, an official translation of the license must be presented with the original license.
Learner's permits are not accepted; a full driver's license is required. Only physical driver's licenses are accepted (not digital versions).
In addition to documents mentioned previously, the customer will need the following: passport, valid driver license, credit card on a main drivers name, booking voucher.

The vehicle is provided with a full tank of fuel and must be returned with the same amount in order to avoid additional charges.

Additional information
Winter tires are recommended during the winter season but are not mandatory. Snow chains are recommended in icy/snowy conditions, especially when traveling in mountainous areas.

Service outside of business hours is available by request and for an additional charge.
