Pros: Nothing at Genova. One of the worst customer service experiences I have ever received in 40 years of business and travelling. Attitude appalling! Drop off at Bergamo airport - very good and helpful chap.
Cons: Car booked not available (estate). No apology, no smiles, nothing. All she could say was we have a Fiat 500 L available and that's the largest - if you don't like it go elsewhere. Appalling customer service.

Pros: Easy return policy. Also car was in suberb condition, so didn't have to look for scratches and dents that could be charged by less scrupulous do.

Free cancellation with a full refund up to 48 hours before your pick-up time, Unlimited mileage, Collision Damage Waiver (deductible: € 1300.00), Theft Protection, Contract fee, Third Party Liability (TPL), Premium Location fee, Road tax, Free modifications, State Tax.

Driver requirements
Minimum rental age is 18 years.
A young driver fee applies to drivers under the age of 25.
There is no maximum age.
A Senior driver fee is not applied.
The driver license must have been issued by authorized authorities at least 1 year(s) before the date of the commencement of the rental.
A driver license printed using a non-Roman alphabet (Arabic, Japanese, Cyrillic, etc) must be supplemented by an International Driving Permit.
For driver licenses from countries not party to the Geneva / Vienna Convention on Road Traffic (e.g., China), an official translation of the license in the following language(s): Italian, together with the original license, must be presented.
Please note that the International Driving Permit is valid only if accompanied by the regular driver license.
In order to pick up the car, the following documents are required: valid driver license, credit card on a main drivers name, Passport or ID card, booking voucher.
Only physical driver's licenses are accepted (not digital versions).
Learner's permits are not accepted; a full driver's license is required.
Residents of the following country(ies): United Kingdom are required to present the following document(s): valid driver license, credit card on a main drivers name, Passport or ID card, booking voucher, International Driving Permit (IDP) in order to pick up the car.
