Paradise Car Rental at Kuala Lumpur Airport

Cons: car broke down after literally 3km then staff don’t want to come for help. I managed somehow to drive back to the airport and they change the car and broke down after two days (I had to uber that day). Now, refusing to give back deposit even though no fines.

Pros: Friendly front desk officer who patiently waited for me to settle the payment manually as their credit card machine was out of order. Kudos!

Cons: Credit card machine was out of order when I arrived. Poor phone reception in the car rental office area. The car has seen better days (it was a model from 2019) and previous damages where still visible when I got the car. The car's boot has visible water leak problem as well, probably from previous damages. Passing tolls in Malaysia requires Touch and Go cards but Paradise Car Rental did not provide one.

Cons: The car was the correct model but was old with no air conditioning. Only a cooler which was struggling at times to keep up with the heat. No Bluetooth or charging ports for mobile phone. Wipers were of poor quality and we ended up replacing one ourself albeit it was cheap to replace. We would liked a slightly newer car which was not up to today’s standards.

Cons: 1. Not clear where to collect the car. We landed at KLIA2 and got to figure out where the rental kiosk is. Took us 30 mins to get to rental kiosk. 2. Refund process after 30 working days? That's too long. Most organisation just don't cash in the deposit slip unless necessary. 3. Lot D car park - press button to talk to car park operator to exit. Button not obvious. Had to reverse to ask staff how to get out. Should be easy and straightforward process.

Cons: car was very old and always afraid of getting problem during the trip. the attitude for the other shorter guy is very bad when we go for picking up the car, no briefing on it and keeping us waiting for a long time. Don't go for "Paradise Travel & Tours"!

Cons: Where do I start? First of all the car looked nothing like the picture advertised on discovery cars, instead we got a old beat up dirty version of that. Then after driving for a couple of hours cockroaches started crawling out of everywhere. After killing 10 of them I tried to reach paradise but nobody answered . I got a WhatsApp text back from them 5 days later … and they replied : “‘oh roaches, omg sorry about that”. Over the next few days we must have killed 40 cockroaches. Worst car rental

Cons: The Discover service should enable people to specify KLIA Terminal 1 or 2 pickup/dropoff location. The two terminals are quite far apart so if you fly into KLIA2 as we did, it's inconvenient to arrange pickup because Paradise is at Terminal 1 only.

Pros: Most of the paradise car rental fleet is in extremely poor condition with most cars having a mileage exceeding 80,000+. I had to change my car due to it rattling around on the road, the next car they were going to offer me had bald tyres, finally I got one that was in alright condition.

Cons: At collection, the middle seat belt of the centre row was not working. The right part of the middle row was missing the lever to adjust the incline of the seat. The left side of the last row was missing the lever to fold the seat. The car shook badly for 2 days of drive once it exceeded 80kmph. On the 2nd night, the right front tyre tore. Cons: It was a terrible experience for us. We found small cockroaches in the car and we had to clean the whole car and spray it thinking this happened from a place we parked the car in. When we checked with the office they confirmed that their cars are facing this issue and they were joking that even the boss's car has cockroaches in it. It was so rude of them to let us know that there is such an issue in their car and that they knew about it after we returned the car.

Cons: It was quite difficult to find the location. We didn't know that there are two different Airport terminals KLIA and KLIA II and as a result spent a lot of time trying to find it in the other one.

Pros: The location at the airport was relatively easy to find, and the service was good. Return was extremely easy to find, and drop off was really fast and efficient. I would use this company again for future rental needs.

Cons: The service and location were really easy and convenient. The car was nothing special and had one headlight that was out, but we did choose the bargain option so we got the quality of car we reserved. Otherwise, no complaints.
