Pacific Rent A Car
Despite its name, this car rental company can be found operating not in the Pacific Ocean, but instead in the Mediterranean Sea, more specifically, its eastern portion where it serves Northern Cyprus, the Turkish-speaking side of the island. The company’s offices can be found in Ercan Airport, the main port of entry for visitors to this part of the island.

Pacific Rent allows its cars to be taken to South Cyprus, the Greek-speaking part of the island. The specifics of how to do this are a little more complicated than for normal border crossings with a rental car. First, you need to get permission documentation from Pacific (for an additional fee). Later, you’ll have to purchase insurance on the Greek side of the border, though it won’t cover the car (only third parties) and neither will the coverage included in the rental.
