Pick-up instructions

If you arrive at terminal B, C or D you can take the Port Authority PURPLE Route Bus. This bus will drop you off at an airport parking lot on the corner of 94th Street and 23rd Avenue. Please be advised that the signage on 94th Street and 23rd Avenue will be extremely limited as this is not controlled by National Car Rental. The waiting area for the National shuttle bus stop is directly in front of the Port Authority Parking garage on 94th street. A National shuttle bus will be circling the corner of 94th Street and 23rd Avenue every 3-5 minutes, the National shuttle bus will take you to our location which is located 2 blocks away. If you arrive at either terminal C or D you are welcome to take the Port Authority RED Route Bus. If you arrive at terminal B you are welcome to take the Port Authority BLUE Route Bus. Both the Red and Blue route buses will take car rental customers to a centralized pick up area at Terminal A where a National shuttle bus will take you directly to the rental facility. This option is a LONGER route to the National Car Rental location. Should you arrive at Terminal A you can take a National shuttle bus from the consolidated shuttle bus pick up area in front of the terminal. The National shuttle bus will take you directly to the rental facility.

Rental Conditions

Rate includes

Free cancellation with a full refund up to 48 hours before your pick-up time, Unlimited mileage, Collision Damage Waiver (with zero deductible), Theft Protection, Loss Damage Waiver (with zero deductible), Third Party Liability (TPL), Premium location fee, VAT (value added tax), Free modifications, Surcharges.

Rate excludes

An E-Toll is offered in order to avoid violation fees.

Driver requirements

Minimum rental age is 18 years.
A young driver fee applies to drivers under the age of 25.

There is no maximum age.
A Senior driver fee is not applied.

The driver license must have been issued by authorized authorities at least 1 year(s) before the date of the commencement of the rental.

The driver license must be written in English alphabet. Otherwise, the renter must provide an International Driver Permit (IDP).
A driver license printed using a non-Roman alphabet (Arabic, Japanese, Cyrillic, etc) must be supplemented by an International Driving Permit.
Please note that the International Driving Permit is valid only if it is accompanied by a regular driver's license, is issued by an official authority or government-authorized organization, and is in physical (not digital) form.
Only physical driver's licenses are accepted (not digital versions).
In order to pick up the car, the renter and each additional driver must present the following documents: passport, valid driver license, credit card on a main drivers name, booking voucher, return flight ticket.

Deposit and deductible policy

A deposit will be charged on the renter's credit card through the end of the rental period.

Payment policy

At time of pick up, customers will be required to pay the amount of the rental and a deposit.
It is possible to pay and leave the deposit only with the following payment methods: MasterCard credit card, VISA credit card, American Express credit card.
Cash, Prepaid cards is/are not accepted.

The main driver must provide a physical payment card in their name with enough funds to cover the deposit to pick up the car. The rental company will neither accept virtual credit cards (e.g., GooglePay or ApplePay) nor someone else’s card (including family members).

Cross-border policy

Crossing country borders is allowed to the following States: Canada.
Details are available from the car rental company's reservation office.

In the event that Cross Border & Territorial Restrictions are violated, all protections lose their validity.

Optional extras and services

Available special equipment: GPS Navigation system, Baby seat (up to 1 year of age), Child seat (2-4 years of age), Booster seat (4-10 years of age), Satellite radio.

All extras are available at the rental counter. Prices vary, depending on the rental period.

Fuel policy

The vehicle is provided with a full tank of fuel and must be returned with the same amount in order to avoid additional charges.
Alternatively, the renter may purchase a tank full of fuel at the time of rental and return the tank empty.
In no case will a refund be given for unused fuel.

Rental period

The maximum rental period per agreement is 30 days.
If the renter would like to extend the rental period, renter should return to the car hire office at the end of the rental period to sign a new agreement.

Business hours

Service outside of business hours is available by request and for an additional charge.
Period of time, during regular working hours, when the car is still guaranteed for the customer, if the customer is late for pick up (the grace period) is 120 minutes.
If the customer is late for a return for more than 29 minutes, extra day charges will apply, in addition to any other rental charges.
