Cons: Agent preassured into purchasing their insurance. Agent did not accept credit card, arguing that it was a debit card. Inspected car all around, one minor isible scratch that agent noted on sheet. However, at return, agent went down on his knees and checked the underbody and informed me that the part of the front bumper that could be seen only if going down on your knees was scratched. It did not cross my mind to go under the car to inspect damage to the underbody and I dont recall going over any

However I did purchased insurance for the vehicle from discovercars.com also he tride to intimidate me that the US driver license I have is not valid in Europe and I could get arrested. I told him to not worry about that. If we will have to deal with that situation we will contact the US ambassy.

Cons: I have made an official complaint: This is my second time in Romania and second time I got a car from your company. First time in Otopeni was great, but this time in Timisoara it's horrible experience at the beginning. The car I have received today was dirty so I couldn't check everything thoroughly and the employee who served me was rude and in quite unsophisticated way tried to persuade me to get an extra insurance from Klass Wagen instead of the one I got from Discover Cars.

Free cancellation with a full refund up to 48 hours before your pick-up time, Unlimited mileage, Collision Damage Waiver (deductible: € 1900.00), Theft Protection, Third Party Liability (TPL), Airport surcharge, Vehicle registration fee, Free modifications, State Tax.
Rate excludes
The following surcharges may apply: Toll pass / E-toll device.
Driver requirements
Minimum rental age is 20 years.
A young driver fee applies to drivers under the age of 24.

There is no maximum age.
A senior driver fee applies to drivers over the age of 70.

The driver license must have been issued by authorized authorities at least 1 year(s) before the date of the commencement of the rental.

In addition to the regular driver license, an International Driving Permit is also mandatory if the customer is not a resident of the following country(ies): United Kingdom, EU.
Please note that the International Driving Permit is valid only if it is accompanied by a regular driver's license, is issued by an official authority or government-authorized organization, and is in physical (not digital) form.


In order to pick up the car, the following documents are required: passport, valid driver license, credit card on a main drivers name, booking voucher, bank statement or utility bill.

Fuel policy
The vehicle is provided with a full tank of fuel and must be returned with the same amount in order to avoid additional charges.
A deposit for a tank of fuel is required upon pick up.
Electric vehicles will be provided with at least 80% battery level. You must return the vehicle with at least 80% battery level.
Additional information
In case of renting at the airport location, the customer must provide a valid flight number in order to make a reservation.
The vehicle must be returned in an acceptably clean condition in order to avoid additional charges.
Business hours
Service outside of business hours is available by request and for an additional charge.


The supplier will hold the vehicle for 3 hours after your scheduled pick-up time as long as it is within their normal business hours. After this time, your booking may be canceled without refund.
