Cons: Customer service does not seem to be a thing. The person at the desk was not exactly friendly or helpful. I was an hour early to pick up, and she suggested I bring the car back an hour early " so you don't have to pay for another day" When I asked for her to explain that to me she just asked if I still want to rent the car or not. I felt pressured to just accept the opinion and not to ask any questions.

Cons: They gave me the car with 3/4 of the fuel and I gave it back full, but in the statement of return they wrote "8/8" at the consignment and "7/8" at the restitution, plus they wrote there was a new scrape over the rear right wheel, even if there was no one (I've made pictures the day I gave it back)

Cons: to be charged in 60€ for picking up the car 1H30 before the agreed hour. The reason i asked to have the car at 22.00 is related to delays in the flights our dificulty finding the rental desk. I arrived to the rental desk 1H30 before the 22.00 and to be able to pick up the car i was charged in 60€. I could have waited for the 22.00 but this does not make sense.

Cons: I paid the amount with my debit card and they took provision of 800 EUR from my credit card but they double transacted 239,40 EUR both from my debit card and credit card. I created a ticked in Europcar website for that and wait to hear back from Europcar.

Driver requirements
Minimum rental age is 19 years.
A young driver fee applies to drivers under the age of 25.

There is no maximum age.
A Senior driver fee is not applied.

The driver license must have been issued by authorized authorities at least 1 year(s) before the date of the commencement of the rental.

Driver licenses will be accepted if issued in the following country(ies): EU countries.
Driver licenses from all other countries must be accompanied with International Driving Permit (IDP).
A driver license printed using a non-Roman alphabet (Arabic, Japanese, Cyrillic, etc) must be supplemented by an International Driving Permit.
In addition to the regular driver license, an International Driving Permit is also mandatory if the driver license is written in a language other than that of the renting country and/or in characters that cannot be read in the renting country.
Please note that the International Driving Permit is valid only if it is accompanied by a regular driver's license, is issued by an official authority or government-authorized organization, and is in physical (not digital) form.
In order to pick up the car, the following documents are required: passport, valid driver license, credit card on a main drivers name, booking voucher, flight information.
Deposit and deductible policy

Payment policy
At the time of pick up, customers will be required to pay the amount of the rental.
It is possible to pay and leave the deposit only with the following payment methods: Diners, MasterCard credit card, VISA credit card.

Visa Electron, Debit cards, Prepaid cards is/are not accepted.

The main driver must provide a physical payment card in their name with enough funds to cover the deposit to pick up the car. The rental company will neither accept virtual credit cards (e.g., GooglePay or ApplePay) nor someone else’s card (including family members).
Cross-border policy
Cross border rentals are allowed only upon previous request.
Details are available from the car rental company's reservation office.

In the event that Cross Border & Territorial Restrictions are violated, all protections lose their validity.
Optional extras and services
Available special equipment: Child seat (2-4 years of age).
Prices for extras are shown on the booking page.

Adding additional drivers is allowed.
There is an additional charge for each driver.
Underage additional drivers are subject to both Young Driver and Additional Driver fees.
When picking up the vehicle, all drivers must be present and must provide valid documentation.

Delivery/Collection service is available within city limits. Additional charges will be applied, depending on the distance.
Fuel policy
The vehicle is provided with a full tank of fuel and must be returned with the same amount in order to avoid additional charges.
Diesel vehicles are available only by request upon arrival.
Diesel vehicles are available for an additional charge.
Additional information
Winter tires are recommended during the winter season but are not mandatory.
Snow chains are allowed in icy/snowy conditions.
Business hours
Service outside of business hours is available by request and for an additional charge.
Period of time, during regular working hours, when the car is still guaranteed for the customer, if the customer is late for pick up (the grace period) is 0 minutes.
