Pros: The Hertz agents at Tromso airport were very friendly, helpful and efficient. 15 minutes for car pick up - with 2 customers ahead of me - and 2 minutes for car drop off - the agent was waiting in the parking lot. Got a brand new hybrid 4x4 - a free upgrade to our initial reservation, with spike tires - a must in Tromso. Reasonable security deposit. All car rentals should be this nice.

Renters from the following country(ies): China must provide the following documents: Hertz Certification form issued by Hertz China in order to collect the car. Driver licenses will be accepted if issued in the following country(ies): United Kingdom, EU.
Driver licenses from all other countries must be accompanied with International Driving Permit (IDP). For driver licenses from countries not party to the International Driving Permit treaty, an official translation of the license must be presented with the original license. A driver license printed using a non-Roman alphabet (Arabic, Japanese, Cyrillic, etc) must be supplemented by an International Driving Permit.
Please note that the International Driving Permit is valid only if accompanied by the regular driver license.
In addition to documents mentioned previously, the customer will need the following: valid driver license, credit card on a main drivers name, Passport or ID card, booking voucher.

A deposit will be blocked on the customer's credit card until the end of the rental period.
