At Miami Airport, Tampa Airport, and Fort Lauderdale Airport, the company’s offices are located near, but not at the airport. The company offers free shuttles to its locations.
HDC, like most small independent car rental companies, doesn’t allow its vehicles to be taken outside the state of Florida. So you can’t take the vehicle to neighboring Georgia or Alabama. The company also doesn’t offer one-way rentals between its locations.
HDC requires that renters have a credit card in order to leave the security deposit when picking up the vehicle. So if you only have a debit card, be aware of this requirement.
