Cons: The credit that I have with Discover cars was not used to pay the FULL amount of the rental - only the deposit was deducted
Pros: We had so many issues from when we arrived with no shuttle bus and trying to make contact. Got upgraded because car our size wasn’t available however car didn’t start. Ended up with another which hadn’t been cleaned yet. However we appreciated all the effort the guy at the office went through to solve the problem. He was really great and the only reason why we would rent from easirent again.

Cons: Phoned both numbers given to let car rental know we had arrived on arrival and found one was not in service and the other was not answered despite several calls. It was only when I phoned the emergency 24hr line I found on the booking documents that I got through. The car was ok but the clutch only engaged right at the top of its range and the brakes were modest in their stopping power. Finally the speedo only gave the speed in kilometers per hour - tricky when road signs in mph.
Pros: Gentleman on the desk who picked me up was friendly
Cons: I was not advised in advance that husband & baby could not be shuttled with me & I would have to leave them behind at airport. It took 15 min to get through to desk to ask for shuttle & a further 30 min for shuttle to arrive. car was grubby inside & out. There were 3 unknown service lights on dashboard, low oil & flat tyre. no water for the wipers. When I returned the car there was no one at the desk so after waiting 45 min I had to leave keys in glove box & order taxi to airport
Pros: The man we dealt with when picking the car up had a job to do and he did try to help. Rob who took delivery of the car on our return was extremely efficient, helpful and I felt trust worthy. I would hire him at the drop of a hat.
Cons: I was expected to leave my sister on her own whilst I got the car. I was expected to pay £1500 security deposit actually taken from my account and not refunded for 3 weeks on return of the car. The man was rude informing I was only paying £6 a day for the car so what do I expect.
Cons: A hard sell on buying the additional insurance for ANY damage whatsoever, however minor. We arrived slightly early to collect our car having been assured someone would be in the office one hour before our pick up, but no one arrived until 10 minutes before pick up. No signage for the Easirent office.

Cons: Poor customer service; Didn't receive the service (car group) I had paid for. Not available at the time of rental, but no adjustment to the price was offered or made.
Cons: Nobody at the office on arrival, had to wait 10 minutes. Was refused rental due to not being able to provide departure airline ticket and refused local rental due to not being able to produce two utility bills to prove my address, (what person carries such documents on their person), even after I found i shouldn’t have been offered this rental as I did not live within a 20 mile radius of the collection point. Refused a refund. One rule for Easirent another for the customer. Disgusting company.

Pros: They dropped me back at the airport so I could get a better mode of transport to my destination.
Cons: Waiting 2 hours for shuttle bus, awkwardness of staff for not accepting address on drivers licence as proof, general scaremongering tactics of staff re insurance and rebooking hire car for another £100. Can't comment on car as I never got to hire one. D3cided against rebooting, cheaper to get alternate method of transport in the end.

Cons: They did not give us the car. Or another person in at the same time as us. Both due to different paperwork issues. It appeared this is something they do quite often as it was all very rehearsed.

Cons: Easirent shouldn’t be in operation. We were extremely lucky to find another car from another company at the airport but were charged an extortionate amount as it was on the day. Many of the companies had no cards left and we could easily have been left stranded. I spoke to Easirent several times and they knew we were at the airport but never came to pick us up despite several calls and an hour of waiting. We weren’t the only customers they did this to.

Cons: Ridiculous small print, like no other car hire I have ever made. No way of getting out of the hire which overall was outrageously high with the company insurance.
Cons: I felt very deceived after getting extra charges on the bill that were not made clear at all. I made a complaint and nobody got back to me. Disappointing that it was not acknowledged really.

Cons: Overall we were very unhappy with the service we received from Easirent, we felt we had been lied to and ripped off by the company. when we returned the car there was no one in the office and we have to wait 45 minutes for someone to return which meant we were running late for our flight. The experience was very stressful and I wouldn't ever use easirent again.
Cons: Cowboys. Tried to charge for marks that were not there. Gave me an automatic when I had booked a manual. Tried to charge extra to give me a manual as the only manual on the car park were in a class above.

Cons: Pick up was slow and in an un marked car from the Belfast airport. Car was dirty and stained with many dents and scratched. We spent an hour in the office going over paperwork that was done when reserved.

Cons: I didn't like the long wait for the airport shuttle as one person was doing everything. I didn't like the pressure to buy insurance, even though I had my own policy. I didn't like the windscreen wash being provided empty.

Cons: The collection point is off site so you need to get a shuttle bus. It's only a few minutes away and the shuttle service is good so not a problem. This helps to keep Easirent prices much lower than the other providers based on site.

He tried to sell me extra insurance which was obviously part of his brief I didn’t appreciate the company’s selling tactic that the insurance I had taken out at the time of booking would be literally useless if any damage occurred

Pros: This branch of easirent are on the edge of criminal. I’m considering taking up with trading standards in the UK. Very hard sell on damage waiver, to the point of aggression. Lost my booking...Discovery kindly stepped in; 60 minutes later; car was filthing inside and out...admitted hadn’t been cleaned at all. Minor scratches all over the car, attempted to mark up as many as possible. Marked ‘no cover’ on the form. In return, pointed out a hairline mark, charged me £280. There’s more...
Cons: Nothing...it was an appealing experience; I’ve been renting cars for almost 30 years and this was by far and away the worst experience.
Pros: Nothing at all! Its a complete joke! It should not be operating. It needs trading standards to investigate if they can do this to their customers.
Cons: 1) Too expensive despite showing up as cheapest on car hire comparison sites 2) Deposit of £1250 is ludicrous 3) Fuel deposit of £95 is ludicrous 4) Earliest time you can return your car is 6 am and I nearly missed my flight due to this 5) If you want to return your car before 6 am then they will charge you 1 hours labour for an employee to start earlier 6) £41.15 petrol charge for a Toyota Aygo is ludicrous when I used less that half the tank i.e. only did 160 miles and they offer no refund
Pros: Nice clean car (despite all the scratches).
Cons: No receipt of what cost was for. Charged by discover car hire and easirent for protection. No details of where to drop car off. Very long time to pick car up (longer than our flight!) No sat nav ready for us despite it being on the form.

Please check the Rental Conditions for each vehicle prior to booking as some conditions, particularly the deposit and deductible, may vary based on the class of vehicle.
For rentals of 30 days or more, mileage is limited to 500 miles per week.
For each additional mile an additional charge of 0.30 GBP per mile will apply.
Mileage limitations will apply if the car is to be used for crossing country borders.
Mileage is limited to 100 miles per day. For each additional mile an additional charge of 0.50 GBP per mile will apply.
A young driver fee applies to drivers under the age of 25.
Maximum rental age is 75 years.
A Senior driver fee is not applied.
The driver license must have been issued by authorized authorities at least 2 year(s) before the date of the commencement of the rental.
The driver license must be written in English alphabet.
In addition to the regular driver license, an International Driving Permit is also mandatory if the driver license is written in a language other than that of the renting country and/or in characters that cannot be read in the renting country.
Please note that the International Driving Permit is valid only if accompanied by the regular driver license.
Customers not resident in United Kingdom are required to present the following document(s): passport, valid driver license, credit card on a main drivers name, booking voucher, return flight ticket, flight information, International Driving Permit (IDP), boarding pass in order to collect the car.
Renters from the following country(ies): United Kingdom must provide the following documents: 2 proofs of home address (e.g. Utility bill) in order to collect the car. The following document(s): proof of home address (e.g. Utility bill) must not be older than 3 months.
UK customers must bring their DVLA check code along with their photo ID. This check code can be obtained from the DVLA website.
In order to pick up the car, the following documents are required: passport, valid driver license, credit card on a main drivers name, booking voucher.
ID documents must be hard copies; documents held on mobile devices will not be accepted.
A local renter is defined as a renter who lives within 20 miles of the pickup location and who is not flying into town with a return ticket.
A deposit for a tank of fuel is required upon collecting the vehicle.
The exact deposit is determined on pick up since the amount is dependent on the type of vehicle.
The deductible/excess amount is from 1500 GBP to 2500 GBP, depending on the car group.
The credit card must be valid for the following period from the start of the rental: 1 month.
It is possible to pay and leave the deposit only with the following payment methods: MasterCard credit card, VISA credit card, American Express credit card.
The following are accepted methods of payment:Debit cards.
Only International renters are allowed to use the following payment method(s): Debit cards. Additional insurance (Full Damage Waiver (FDW)) must be purchased if using the following payment method(s): Debit cards.
An administrative charge of 5 % will apply for payments made using the following credit card(s): American Express.
Local customers are allowed to rent only if they agree to a credit check and the credit score is positive.
This rule also applies if local customers want to use the following payment method(s): Debit cards.
A local renter is defined as a renter who lives within 20 miles of the pickup location and who is not flying into town with a return ticket.
Cash is/are not accepted.
The main driver must provide a physical payment card in their name with enough funds to cover the deposit to pick up the car. The rental company will neither accept virtual credit cards (e.g., GooglePay or ApplePay) nor someone else’s card (including family members).
International one-way rentals are not available.
Cross border rentals are allowed only upon previous request.
Information on the exact fee amount is available by request.
Mileage limitations will apply when the car is to be used for crossing country borders.
Cross-border travel is allowed upon previous request and for an additional charge of 125 GBP + 20 GBP per day.
Crossing country borders to Ireland is available for 50 GBP per rental.
Cross-border travel is allowed when pick up has taken place in North Ireland.

Adding additional drivers is allowed.
There is an additional charge for each driver.
Underage additional drivers are subject to both Young Driver and Additional Driver fees.
When picking up the vehicle, all drivers must be present and must provide valid documentation.
There is a charge of 10 GBP per day per driver.
Spouse is allowed for a decreased charge of 7GBP per day.
Delivery/Collection service is available only by previous request.
The vehicle is provided with a full tank of fuel, and pre-payment is requested.
If the car is returned with a lesser amount of fuel, a refueling charge of 11.40 GBP will be applied + the cost of the missing fuel. In no case will a refund be given for unused fuel.
In case of renting at the airport location, the customer must provide a valid flight number in order to make a reservation.
Period of time, during regular working hours, when the car is still guaranteed for the customer, if the customer is late for pick up (the grace period) is 59 minutes.
If the customer is late for a return for more than 29 minutes, extra day charges will apply, in addition to any other rental charges.
