Pros: good running car even though a lower category

Cons: the dollar desk at BWI car rental facility was closed. they had the sign to go to hertz. went to hertz and they said I will be sorted out by thriffty. thriffty had a sign on their desk saying wait time for cars is 5 hours. ridiculous service. got the car 40 mins after waiting so not so bad, but instead of large car I got prius (that's economy only I guess)? I didn't bother to wait anymore and just left with a car I got.

Pros: The car was nice.

Cons: When I arrived to pick up the car, they didn't have any cars and said it would probably be a three hour wait. I had an appointment set up. This really messed up my schedule.

Pros: The agent I dealt with was nice

Cons: There were no cars available. I was offered a truck, but it was only one of two available when I got to the counter. It was just luck that I even got the truck and didn't have to wait 3 hours for a car.

Rental Conditions

Please check the Rental Conditions for each vehicle prior to booking as some conditions, particularly the deposit and deductible, may vary based on the class of vehicle.

Rate includes

Unlimited mileage, Loss Damage Waiver (with zero deductible), Supplemental Liability Insurance (SLI), Airport surcharge, Vehicle registration fee, Free modifications, State Tax, Customer Facility Charge (CFC).

Driver requirements

Minimum rental age is 20 years.
A young driver fee applies to drivers under the age of 25.

There is no maximum age.
A Senior driver fee is not applied.

The driver license must have been issued by authorized authorities at least 1 year(s) before the date of the commencement of the rental.

In addition to the regular driver license, an International Driving Permit is also mandatory if the national driver license is not written in English.
Please note that the International Driving Permit is valid only if accompanied by the regular driver license.

In order to pick up the car, the renter and each additional driver must present the following documents: passport, valid driver license, credit card on a main drivers name, booking voucher.

Deposit and deductible policy

A deposit will be held on the customer's credit card.
At the time of pick up customers will be required to pay the amount of the rental and a deposit.

Prices for extras are shown on the booking page.

Additional charges will be applied. Delivery/collection service is not provided.

Fuel policy

The vehicle is provided with a full tank of fuel and must be returned with the same amount in order to avoid additional charges.
Alternatively, for rates that include Fuel Purchase Option the first tank of gas is included. Customers do not have to refuel the vehicle prior to return.

Rental period

The maximum rental period per agreement is 62 days.
If the renter would like to extend the rental period, renter should return to the car hire office at the end of the rental period to sign a new agreement.

Business hours

Service outside of business hours is available by request and for an additional charge.

Period of time, during regular working hours, when the car is still guaranteed for the customer, if the customer is late for pick up (the grace period) is 29 minutes.
