Pros: Drop off was good; simple and efficient
Cons: As with all US rental car companies, the price advertised is never close to what you pay. Forced an electric car on me, even tho ordered a small Gas car. Why are prices for tolls not built in for Logan, when it is impossible to reach without toll routes?
Pros: Agent was very nice. Car was clean and felt is was very dependable.
Cons: Getting hit with additional driver charge. Also the agency totally BASHED your company!
Cons: Agent asked if I would be driving on toll roads and I said yes, just 1 out of the 10 days we were renting. They added a transponder and I expected to pay the tolls I incurred that one day, about $8. Instead they charged me $15/day. I complained and they said I signed the rental agreement.
Cons: It took 3 hours standing in line to get car.
Pros: I am apalled ar the awful service we were provided. No cars so Waited in chaos for 1 hour for the car. The cae we Got was smelly filthy and the gas tank was not full. Less than half full. No one know when we could get a car which made us very late for our appointment
Pros: Easy return.
Cons: I waited in line for two and a half hours to get the car in Boston. Very unhappy with the service there. I will never rent from Dollar or Thrifty in Boston again. Never. They were the only rental company with a line like that.
Cons: Service agent did not point out car assigned was an EV. After waiting 45 minutes for someone to deliver car to me I found out it was an EV which I had not driven before. Although handling same as gas powered car, it’s fuel consumption characteristics are different and finding available charging stations was challenging, requiring more forethought and planning than I wanted to do on my vacation.
Cons: The counter was closed and we were directed to Thrifty with a four-hour waiting line. Impossible to reach an agent at Dollars. Never again. We had to use Uber, which cost us an extra $50.00, and rent another car for another $175.00
Pros: I think your employees were trying but the product wasn't there and that is why I was there not to meet nice employees.
Cons: Real lack of communication from everyone.
Pros: The person who checked us in was a lovely person and we enjoyed the process. My daughters said what a beautiful person! As we walked away from the desk.
Cons: Nothing. It was the best rental car experience I've ever had. Fast, easy, not stressful. Usually renting a car means lengthy time at a desk and then lengthy time in a lot and huge amounts of paperwork. But this experience with Dollar was absolutely delightful and easy
Cons: Charged extra $150. No idea why. It was a prepaid booking

Pros: The pick up and drop off process was relatively simple.
Cons: The wait to pick up my car was too long, I didn't receive an EZ Pass like I had paid for, I sat on hold with customer service on the phone too long.
Cons: The two hour long wait in line to get our car. Our flight was only an hour forty five to get there !
Pros: When we dropped the car off a representative actually drove us to the airport terminal instead of having to use the shuttle.
Cons: The rental desk closed at 0130 with 20-30 people in line. Leaving everyone to “either go to another rental agent or get a hotel”. Which left everyone stranded. We had arranged for them to provide us with car seats so going to a hotel was not an option without the car seats and if we went to another rental agent we would’ve lost our deposit. Ultimately we ended up having to spend the night on the ground in a corner of the building. And not one person apologized. Won’t ever use dollar rental again

Cons: Only one agent taking care of dozen people, car had 95000+ miles. Large hole in carpet by gas pedal…lots of scratches on car.
Pros: Easy dropoff - but that's no different than anyone else.
Cons: Our car. The mid-sized car we had booked was not available. We were given a small SUV. Ok, I guess. But I didn't want a mid-sized SUV and boot space too little for our luggage 1) The car stank of smoke. Badly. It was horrible and we had to drive with the windows open - in Boston on Feb with snow! 2) The steering had some kind of problem 3) Android auto didn't function at all - problem was car side - software not updated. in short, a very poorly maintained car.
