Pros: Easy to find off the port

Cons: We received a car that was problematic. The gas tank showed 1/8 tank, however, we drove 10 miles and the light came on that we’d be out of gas soon. We filled it, and left the car with 1/2 tank (waste of money!). Who rents a car on empty? So unprofessional & inconsiderate! The car had a faulty low tire pressure light that constantly came on. We stopped twice to check tire pressure, but they were fine. It also had a very noisy belt! We went to the port to change cars, but no one was around. Poor

Pros: Pickup on time

Cons: Empty tank. Gas Station store closed on Sunday. Almost did not make it to a gas station. When i returned the car I gifted $60 gasoline at the end. More than half a tank. Agent attitude was horrible when i dropped off the car. No credit for gifted gasoline.

Cons: Didn’t like they weren’t flexible on the return time. Normally you rent for a 24 hour period and I picked up at 14:00 ams 5 days later the return time was 10:00. I asked to extend that out by just 1 hour and they refunded. So the last day I didn’t get an entire 24 hour period.

Pros: As we departed the ferry, they were waiting for us with a sign to take us to the car. Car was in ferry terminal parking lot. We quickly reviewed the agreement, checked the car, and charged the card on file for the rental. Very fast, hassle free service.

Cons: The Avance agent was rude and sarcastic and unreacheable whenever we had to contact him. The front mirror was glued and we were riding the car when it felt on my lap. I ended up driving the whole stay without a mirror since the representative never picked up his phone.

Pros: Easy online booking, and best price

Cons: For port pickup, agent did not have a company sign and was busy chatting with a friend, I had to walk around asking people who they were. When I found him he didn’t have the car and asked me to come back in 25 mins but it was an hour before I got the car. Other than that everything else was great.

Pros: Easy to book. The meet and greet service, which is a bit hard to understand on line, is perfect. They meet you as you get off the ferry.

Cons: We rented on 2 islands. On one island we didn't get info that person would meet us (Naxos). Don't like that communication with actual rental agency (vs. Discover) is not made clear online.

Driver requirements
Minimum rental age is 23 years.
A Young driver fee is not applied.

Maximum rental age is 75 years.
A Senior driver fee is not applied.

The driver license must have been issued by authorized authorities at least 1 year(s) before the date of the commencement of the rental.

Driver licenses will be accepted if issued in the following country(ies): Australia, Canada, United Kingdom, USA, EU countries.
Driver licenses from all other countries must be accompanied with International Driving Permit (IDP).
Please note that the International Driving Permit is valid only if it is accompanied by a regular driver's license, is issued by an official authority or government-authorized organization, and is in physical (not digital) form.

In order to pick up the car, the following documents are required: passport, valid driver license, credit card on a main drivers name, Passport or ID card.
Deposit and deductible policy
Payment policy
At time of pick up, customers will be required to pay the amount of the rental and a deposit.
It is possible to pay and leave the deposit only with the following payment methods: MasterCard credit card, VISA credit card. Only cards issued in the main driver's name are accepted.

The main driver must provide a physical payment card in their name with enough funds to cover the deposit to pick up the car. The rental company will neither accept virtual credit cards (e.g., GooglePay or ApplePay) nor someone else’s card (including family members).
Optional extras and services
Available special equipment: Baby seat (up to 1 year of age), Booster seat (4-10 years of age), Snow chains.
Prices for extras are shown on the booking page.

Adding additional drivers is allowed.
There is an additional charge for each driver.
When picking up the vehicle, all drivers must be present and must provide valid documentation.

It is allowed to add up to 3 additional drivers.
Delivery/Collection service is available only by previous request.
Fuel policy
The vehicle is provided with a certain amount of fuel and must be returned with the same amount in order to avoid additional charges.
Additional information
In case of renting at the airport location, the customer must provide a valid flight number in order to make a reservation.
Winter tires are not mandatory in Greece, Greece - Crete Island.
Rental period
The maximum rental period per agreement is 29 days. If the renter would like to extend the rental period, renter should return to the car hire office at the end of the rental period to sign a new agreement.
Business hours
Period of time, during regular working hours, when the car is still guaranteed for the customer, if the customer is late for pick up (the grace period) is 180 minutes.
