Pros: There was a car which didn't break down. Car was very clean. When he arrived, the agent did take time to advise on some of the controls particular to that vehicle, which was helpful.

Cons: The sale was passed to another company. Agent was late for a 'meet and greet' which is not acceptable. Pick up was very fast, with no proper confirmation of the return of the car or acceptance of its condition.

Pros: Got old Nissan Micra with + 90000 km's. Left light was totally wrong alligned. Complained to agent. Good thing: they brought 2 days later another car to the hotel: an old Opel Corsa with 105000km! Luckaly this car drove much better but wouldn't recommend this company!

Pros: Kostanstinos seemed very nice when we rented the car, but very sketchy when dropped off......

Cons: The car they provided was horrible. The radio did not work, the AC/heating control could not be adjusted and the clutch slipped. It had more dings and scratches that I have ever seen on a rental. We got a small scuff on the bumper and they charge 80 Euro and had to pay cash. The guy said we would have to go to a garage to get a card reader. Very sketchy and convenient that he did not bring that with him. Price was made up and more than what we rented to car for. Total scam job. Don't use Alma!

Pros: I never dealt with Alma Car Hire which was extremely frustrating.

Cons: We were given the worse car on the island. The brakes were squealing and grinding so bad. I asked for another car the 2nd day because we did not feel safe driving the car. And we’re told there were no other cars. We couldn’t explore the island as planned because we were afraid to drive.

Cons: - booked a small car, they tried to give me a family car, which is huge and difficult to use on island roads - the 2nd car I received broke down 15 minutes, dead battery, good thing I was at a supermarket; it took them almost 1h to come and help me, after promising 15 minutes - most of the cars are old (over 7 years) and the one from 2019 that I got had a malfunctioning gearbox - confirmed to dropoff the car at 8:30 in the port, they never arrived, I was on the ferry at 9:30...

Rate includes
Free cancellation with a full refund up to 48 hours before your pick-up time, Unlimited mileage, Collision Damage Waiver (deductible: € 800.00), Theft Protection, Third Party Liability (TPL), Airport surcharge, Free modifications, State Tax.
Driver requirements
Minimum rental age is 23 years.
A young driver fee applies to drivers under the age of 26.

Maximum rental age is 75 years.
A senior driver fee applies to drivers over the age of 70.

The driver license must have been issued by authorized authorities at least 1 year(s) before the date of the commencement of the rental.

Driver licenses will be accepted if issued in the following country(ies): Australia, Canada, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, Switzerland, United Kingdom, USA, EU countries.
Driver licenses from all other countries must be accompanied with International Driving Permit (IDP).

In order to pick up the car, the following documents are required: passport, valid driver license, credit card on a main drivers name, booking voucher, flight information.
Deposit and deductible policy
Cross-border policy
Using a ferry is allowed on the previous request and for an additional charge with special permission from the car rental company.
Details are available from the car rental company's reservation office.
Optional extras and services
Available special equipment: GPS Navigation system, Baby seat (up to 1 year of age), Child seat (2-4 years of age), Booster seat (4-10 years of age), Snow chains.
Prices for extras are shown on the booking page.

Adding additional drivers is allowed.
There is an additional charge for each driver.
Underage additional drivers are subject to both Young Driver and Additional Driver fees.
When picking up the vehicle, all drivers must be present and must provide valid documentation.

Certain additional drivers are subject to both an Additional Driver fee as well as either a Young Driver or Senior Driver fee.

Delivery/Collection service is available only by previous request.
Additional charges will be applied.
Fuel policy
The vehicle is provided with a certain amount of fuel and must be returned with the same amount in order to avoid additional charges.
Additional information
Winter tires are not mandatory in Greece.
Rental period
The maximum rental period per agreement is 30 days.
If the renter would like to extend the rental period, renter should return to the car hire office at the end of the rental period to sign a new agreement.
Business hours
Service outside of business hours is available by request and for an additional charge.
Period of time, during regular working hours, when the car is still guaranteed for the customer, if the customer is late for pick up (the grace period) is 120 minutes.
