Pros: Nothing positive

Cons: 1- booked Toyota Yaris Cross when arrived lied they don't have this car, but saw another lady driving off with the exact car, this is not the first time this happened with this company. 2. Should be full car of fuel, was not. But you have to return car with full tank. 3. Not possible to reach customer service by phone 4. You pay for car to be cleaned-was not.

Cons: Very disappointed with the supplier. The car was not clean, had a chipped windscreen, and the back interior light fell out as we started driving. At the desk, the agent was dismissive and the insurance situation was confusing — I purchased cover but was told it meant nothing. I will avoid renting through you and Alamo Rent a Car in the future.

Cons: Car cleaning surcharge. We rent cars all over Europe. But this is the only place which charges for cleaning the car. And this adds up extra cost to the rental. Even if I get the chance to clean, there’s no washing facilities available in 50 mile radius.

Pros: Cheap price

Cons: Received a dirty car and took a pictures. Was told to clean the car before returning. Cleaned it as much as I could, left it in the car park which was outside and weather wasn’t great. Got charged 30 euros for a cleaning fee. Also, they are not giving a hard copy or email with the confirmation that car was returned all ok and still keep 300 euros of deposit money. Asked a girl who was checking a car and who said it was all ok, write on the paper that car was received same as taken. Didn’t help.

Cons: T&Cs had a note that extra change would be applied for over hours pick-up, however there was no information about the value of extra charge or the actual office hours on T&Cs displayed on Discovercars.com. When I checked on Alamo's Kaunas website it was noted that office hrs were 24/7. I was really frustrated when I was asked to pay extra 25e for pick up. It was totally not expected upon given information (or rather lack of it)

Cons: Despite the online agent accepting my American Express Card AND Alamo being an American company, you could not take my American Express Credit Card as security - thus I was presented with an unexpected large surcharge for insurance. This was NOT clear at the time of booking. I am likely to check in advance next time and will likely choose an alternative supplier.

Rate includes
Free cancellation with a full refund up to 48 hours before your pick-up time, Unlimited mileage, Collision Damage Waiver (deductible: € 600.00), Theft Protection, Airport surcharge, Third Party Liability (TPL), VAT (value added tax), Free modifications.
Driver requirements
Minimum rental age is 19 years.
A young driver fee applies to drivers under the age of 25.

Maximum rental age is 75 years.
A Senior driver fee is not applied.

The driver license must have been issued by authorized authorities at least 1 year(s) before the date of the commencement of the rental.

In addition to the regular driver license, an International Driving Permit is also mandatory if the customer is not a resident of the following country(ies): United Kingdom, EU countries.
Please note that the International Driving Permit is valid only if it is accompanied by a regular driver's license, is issued by an official authority or government-authorized organization, and is in physical (not digital) form.

In order to pick up the car, the renter and each additional driver must present the following documents: valid driver license, credit card on a main drivers name, Passport or ID card, booking voucher.
Deposit and deductible policy

Payment policy
At time of pick up, customers will be required to pay the amount of the rental and a deposit.
The following payment methods are accepted: Cash, MasterCard credit card, VISA credit card, American Express credit card.
When paying with cash, a debit/credit card issued on the main driver's name is required for security purposes.

The main driver must provide a physical payment card in their name with enough funds to cover the deposit to pick up the car. The rental company will neither accept virtual credit cards (e.g., GooglePay or ApplePay) nor someone else’s card (including family members).
Cross-border policy
Cross border rentals are allowed only upon previous request.
Additional charges will be applied in case the car is crossing state or region borders.
Crossing country borders is allowed to the following countries: Estonia, Finland, Latvia, Poland.
In the event that Cross Border & Territorial Restrictions are violated, all protections lose their validity.
Optional extras and services
Available special equipment: GPS Navigation system, Baby seat (up to 1 year of age), Child seat (2-4 years of age), Booster seat (4-10 years of age).
Prices for extras are shown on the booking page.


Delivery/Collection service is available only by previous request. Additional charges will be applied. During winter season (from 01.11 until 31.03) Winter tires are included in price.
Fuel policy
The vehicle is provided with a certain amount of fuel and must be returned with the same amount in order to avoid additional charges.
Additional information
By law, winter tires are mandatory on all roads from 10.11 to 31.03.
Snow chains are allowed in icy/snowy conditions.
Business hours
Service outside of business hours is available by request and for an additional charge.
The supplier will hold the vehicle for 0 minutes after your scheduled pick-up time as long as it is within their normal business hours. After this time, your booking may be canceled without refund.
