- Oslo Opera House. Although celebrating its 15th birthday in 2023, Oslo Opera House continues to be called ‘futuristic’ more often than not. - Norwegian Museum of Cultural History. A large and fun open-air museum, this is the best place to explore traditional Norwegian houses, mills, barns, and all other sorts of buildings. If you enjoyed your visit, you’ll probably also love the Viking Ship Museum next door, the Maritime Museum, and even the Kon-Tiki Museum dedicated to the daring naval adventures of Norway’s own Thor Heyerdahl.
- Holmenkollen. Experience Oslo's best view from the top of the tower in Holmenkollbakken at the Holmenkollen ski jump. From here you get a panoramic view of Oslo and the surrounding scenery and fjords.Østensjøvannet. While it might be neither the largest nor the wildest in Norway, Østensjøvannet is one of the most easily accessible nature areas from Oslo. Located within the city limits, it is about a 15-minute drive east of the center and is centered around a large lake. A wildlife preserve known for its many bird species, it is a great place to visit for a day outdoors.
- Oslo Opera House. An example of modern architecture and an important cultural center, the Operahuset is one of the most notable buildings of the Norwegian capital. Built from the famous Carrara marble, it opened in 2008. Whether you’re looking to catch a show or just take a glance at the unique structure, a visit to the opera house is worth your time.

Picked up the car from Oslo airport and drove to Kristansand, Stavanger, Bergen, Flam, Honefoss and finally dropped the care back at oslo airport. The trip was amazing. Road is easy to drive. I used WAZE for our navigation throughout the trip. Very accurate and took us to exactly where we want to go. Mobile coverage throughout Norway is superb even in very remote mountains except for the tunnels. There were many tunnels we have to drive through. The longest we drove through was 25KM long. The view are simply stunning. It is a must make trip.

The Volvo's autopilot is not reliable fully for keeping the car in lanes.
The range (300-400 km) for daily trips was enough, only needed to charge on the road once.
