Airport travel guide

The largest city in New Mexico, Albuquerque is an increasingly popular travel destination. These are three of the Duke City’s most notable attractions:
- Albuquerque Biological Park. Made up of a botanical garden, an aquarium, a zoo, and even a beach on the banks of the Rio Grande, the Albuquerque Biological Park is one of the most interesting places to visit in this part of the country. The different attractions of the park are connected by a narrow-gauge train. The park is located just a short drive southwest of downtown.
- National Museum of Nuclear Science and History. New Mexico is where the Trinity test, the first-ever detonation of a nuclear weapon, ever took place in 1945, so it is only fitting that Albuquerque is home to this museum. With a vast collection on the development of nuclear weapons, as well as the use of atomic energy, the museum provides a fascinating insight into the most powerful arms ever created by mankind.
- Old Town. Dating back to 1706 when the city was founded, Albuquerque’s Old Town is one of the best-preserved of its kind in this part of the country. As could be expected, the historical neighborhood has some of the city’s most notable heritage architecture, as well as landmarks such as the Albuquerque Museum of Art and History and the New Mexico Museum of Natural History and Science.
If you're planning a road trip through the state, don't miss this New Mexico guide.
