Arriving on train:
Edinburgh Airport does not have a railway station. The airport is linked to Edinburgh’s main rail stations, Waverley and Haymarket, by tram bus or taxi. For those travelling north, the Jet 747 service provides a convenient link between the airport and Inverkeithing station in Fife.
Rail passengers can get between the airport and station by taxi or by bus. The Airlink 100 service runs 24 hours and calls at Waverley and Haymarket stations. Journey times to and from the airport are between 25 and 30 minutes in normal traffic.
A night bus, the N22, also runs between Waverley station and the airport.
Arriving on bus:
Shuttle buses run on a request basis 24 hours a day.

- Old Town. The well-preserved oldest part of the city is where most of Edinburgh’s classical landmarks are located. Home not only to Edinburgh Castle, it is also the location of the National Museum of Scotland, the Scottish Parliament, and the National Library of Scotland. Other attractions beloved by tourists include the Camera Obscura Gallery, the charming Grassmarket area, and Holyrood Park.
- New Town. Another part of the city that’s not to be missed, New Town is home to many famous Edinburgh landmarks as well as a good share of hidden gems. Built in the 18th and 19th centuries and famous for its distinct Georgian architecture, the area is home to three of the most important museums in the UK: the National Gallery of Scotland, the Scottish National Portrait Gallery and the Scottish National Gallery of Modern Art. I think the Isle of Skye is probably the most magical and enchanting place in the UK. The landscape is breath taking, in particular the Cuillins , the old man of Stor and the Quiraing. Great walking, great food and great hospitality.
