Slovenia has the best driving roads in Europe, and possibly even better than New Zealand. Sixt are great even when flight was delayed and I left my wallet/glasses in the car after drop-off. You need to hire a car and experience Slovenia's stunning roads and scenery.

Slovenia is a beautiful country, and pretty easy to get around. If you're taking a trip to Lake bled, I'd suggest driving on an additional 30 mins to Lake bohinj, which was equally as stunning and far less touristy.
