We have been coming to Barbados for 24 years now and love it. We know the island quite well, which is why we have a car, so that we can go when and where we want to. This time we went to Champers, Le Shack and Lobster Alive, all of which were amazing. Also to the Boatyard, always a great experience. The Fishermans Pub in Speightstown is always a must too. We look forward to seeing you again in December.

I really enjoyed my stay. The use of a vehicle allowed me to visit friends and family and also attend a Funeral that came unexpectedly. I have been to many of the island attractions, and additionally I was able to visit the Four Square distillery. Where I stayed in St James was within walking distance of Shop, the beach and restaurants and the nightlife.

I was in Barbados with friends we stayed at the Altman Villas in Sugar Hill St James. We loved locations like SEASHED and La Cabane and St Lawrence Gap and Oistins. Such a great trip.

Loved Barbados and it's very friendly and helpful people. Surfed at Freights bay. Ate at Cafe Luna at Miami beach and Surfers Cafe in Oistins and of coarse the fish market at Oistins on a Friday (Pats was the best). Snorkelled on the wrecks at Carlise Bay. Kids enjoyed the inflatable water park on Brandons beach just north of the port at Bridgetown. Visited Bathsheba on the Atlantic side and jumped off the rocks at Shark Hole.

Visited all off Barbados,would recommend you get a sat nav ,as street signs can be missing,visited Cherry hill ,Joes River,The Cliff,Champers,Tapas Rockly beach, Hunts gardens,Animal cave ,Harrison’s cave,Tropical gardens,Rum Distillery,boat cruise,Oistens on a Friday night.

If travelling from west to east (Holetown to Martins bay) the roads are horrendous. First time hired a small saloon and wondered how we and the cars suspension survived! Second time hired a jeep which coped a lot better.. Be aware of roads off the main West coast roads. Barbados is an amazing place with hot Caribbean West coast and more rugged Atlantic east coast. Both have charm and beauty. Explore the country!!
