Cons: I was told full insurance purchased from DiscoverCars.com was not recognised by toprentacar and in the event of an accident would be charged and have to claim through the 3rd party.

Pros: New cars I used Top rent a car in Plovdiv, Varna and Bourgas. I will use the again just hope not to have the same experience described in next section. Returning the car was spot on.
Cons: Car was not ready for pick up. This delayed us by 90mins. Baby seat was not for 0-9 kilos as requested. Sorting this added more to the delay. I suggest agents check Bulgarian/EU rules for car seats categories. The car key switch indicated low battery, Top rent a car asked me to travel to Plovdiv for replacement or to replace it in the local city as they said battery replacement is my responsibility. I refused until they agreed that this replacement should be done by them.
