10/8/26

Pros: I got the car, it worked, drop off was easy

Cons: The agent said go left, left row 2, I did not know that I could pick whatever car in the row and keys were in it. I ended up asking a customer who was getting situated in her car on how to proceed. The check in lady also made me think extra insurance wasn't an option i was confused. Poor communication at check in

Pros: The drop off process was fast and efficent

Cons: Our car size we rented was not available when we arrived for pick up. Had to wait for a car to be cleaned and delivered so could not skip the line and pick up. Car was wet all over so made it very difficult to see if there was any pre existing damage. The fuel was supposed to be full and the gage indicated full and the mileage range said 386 miles. When l refueled to return the car the the milage range was 487 over 100 miles more than what l received. No way it could have been full when l receiv

Cons: They had no cars—did not inform long line of waiting customers, in fact were displaying cars available sign. Agents were operating in slow motion, we learned why when we got to the garage—another long line and another hour waiting. Among the worst car rental experience I’ve had.

Cons: They added the full tank option casually without asking me. "blah blah blah and here is the full tank option so that you won't have to refill it. This is your total". I agree it was my mistake but after saying no to every other option, the way it was put to me, I almost missed whether they were asking for my permission even for this.

United States of America (USA)
Mazda 3
7/4/23

Pros: Nothing! Rental process took over 45 minutes as we waited in line with no where to sit down (we're in our 70's). Then after finishing at the counter, we were directed to the garage to pick up our car. THERE WERE NO CARS! We waited over an hour for a vehicle to come back, get cleaned and be turned over to us. At least 25 other couples were in the same situation. No reason why cars shouldn't have been there when they knew all these people had booked ahead of time and were coming in.

Cons: See previous comments. Plus, no one seemed to care that so many people had to wait for so long for cars to show up for rental. Would not use Thrifty again! And Discovercars needs to be on top of these issues.

Chevrolet Malibu
6/27/23

Cons: The total time spent in picking up my car, including the line to check in and waiting for the car thereafter, was over 2 hours! The Thrifty employee was extremely arrogant and rude to me and was arguing with me over the insurance issue for over 10 minutes.
