Pros: The drop off process was fast and efficent

Cons: Our car size we rented was not available when we arrived for pick up. Had to wait for a car to be cleaned and delivered so could not skip the line and pick up. Car was wet all over so made it very difficult to see if there was any pre existing damage. The fuel was supposed to be full and the gage indicated full and the mileage range said 386 miles. When l refueled to return the car the the milage range was 487 over 100 miles more than what l received. No way it could have been full when l receiv

Cons: They added the full tank option casually without asking me. "blah blah blah and here is the full tank option so that you won't have to refill it. This is your total". I agree it was my mistake but after saying no to every other option, the way it was put to me, I almost missed whether they were asking for my permission even for this.

Pros: Nothing! Rental process took over 45 minutes as we waited in line with no where to sit down (we're in our 70's). Then after finishing at the counter, we were directed to the garage to pick up our car. THERE WERE NO CARS! We waited over an hour for a vehicle to come back, get cleaned and be turned over to us. At least 25 other couples were in the same situation. No reason why cars shouldn't have been there when they knew all these people had booked ahead of time and were coming in.

Cons: See previous comments. Plus, no one seemed to care that so many people had to wait for so long for cars to show up for rental. Would not use Thrifty again! And Discovercars needs to be on top of these issues.

Rate includes
Unlimited mileage, Loss Damage Waiver (with zero deductible), Supplemental Liability Insurance (SLI), State Tax, Surcharges.
Rate excludes
Many highways in USA are tolled using only electronic means.
An E-Toll is offered in order to avoid violation fees.
The option to prepay tolls is available for 9.99 USD to 27.99 USD per day depending on the travel area.
Driver requirements
Minimum rental age is 20 years.
A young driver fee applies to drivers under the age of 25.

There is no maximum age.
A Senior driver fee is not applied.

The driver license must have been issued by authorized authorities at least 1 year(s) before the date of the commencement of the rental.

In order to pick up the car, the renter and each additional driver must present the following documents: passport, valid driver license, credit card on a main drivers name, booking voucher.
An International Driving Permit is required (in addition to your regular driver license) if the national driver license is not written in the following language(s): English.

Fuel policy
The vehicle is provided with a full tank of fuel and must be returned with the same amount in order to avoid additional charges.
Alternatively, for rates that include Fuel Purchase Option the first tank of gas is included. Customers do not have to refuel the vehicle prior to return.
Rental period
The maximum rental period per agreement is 62 days.
If the renter would like to extend the rental period, renter should return to the car hire office at the end of the rental period to sign a new agreement.
Business hours
The supplier will hold the vehicle for 29 minutes after your scheduled pick-up time as long as it is within their normal business hours. After this time, your booking may be canceled without refund.
