Tamra Rent A Car at Jeju International Airport

Pros: At arrival they worked efficiënt.

Cons: When we brouwt back our car they manager to find a scratch on the wheelcase and did not let us go before we paid it. Even the busdriver waited intik we paid before he left for the airport.

Cons: Car had many scratches, insisting on intl. drivers license paper

Cons: Admin. When you arrive, they ask for all documents (passport, driver license, etc.), then not sure what they do with them as you need to add a picture of them by yourself when completing the contract…

Pros: 1. it wasn’t clear the shuttle was still running. 2. we thought we booked a hybrid and the rental agent couldn’t tell us where to charge the car. 3.the rental agent was VERY rude and said she didn’t speak English. No problem just use google translate. She YELLED into the phone so everyone in line could hear her frustration. She should not be in a customer facing position.

Pros: Not allow me to take the car due to no international driving license but compensate all my money without using the car. It is like trying to cheat the use that not experience in this renting service.

Pros: I emailed and informed car rental company that my rental would be after hours around 830 PM. The shuttle was not running, but it would have been nice for the company to give me walking directions to the office after hours. Another bus driver helped me find the office, which was very kind of him.

Pros: Had a really nice experience with this car rental. The shuttle bus was easy to find, and the pick-up was quick. The only downside is that they do not speak English, but everything went smoothly anyway.

Cons: I had to put everything in Myself, it was more self service then anything else.

Cons: Counter agent at Jeju l not friendly if you don’t speak Korean. In fact, the entire experience was difficult because we didn’t fully understand the language. Car had damage & gas tank was only 1/2 full. We were told to video the car’s condition.

Pros: The car was wonderful with all the stuff that was needed, and the service was amazing

Cons: It can be nice if will be an instructions about the traffic laws of Korea, including everything, because for foreigners it a bit difficult without knowing and guessing what I need to do

Cons: It took quite a while to understand we had to fill out all the rental forms ourselves after we had already provided all the information to the agent. English information was hard to understand. Perhaps an information sheet explaining the process would make it easier for those that do not speak Korean.

Pros: Really nothing. After the rental was refused the agency did not even bother to assist us in calling a taxi. Rude and unprofessional.

Cons: The agent was quick to call the documents I presented as fake and illegal. Instead of politely refusing the rental because the documents did not meet the requirement, he decided to use this derogatory language. I confronted his behavior by e-mail and there was an apology in the reply, however I did not have the impression that the agent truly recognized his misconduct.

Pros: The online communication was excellent my questions were replied fast. The person sitting in their office front desk needs to be retrained! The lady lacked any customer service skills. She didn’t want to answer any questions aside taking your credit card. She was busily typing and didn’t even lift her head. No attempt to use e-translator apps if she can’t understand. Saying she is rude is an understatement. Inattentive and hostile might be the right description of my entire interaction with her.

Cons: Ooh the airport shuttle smells moldy. The car was slightly dusty but since it gave me no issues I want complain much. To whoever operating the WhatsApp messaging service; thank you! You’re awesome!

Cons: registration at pickup was lengthy. there wasn't instructions to navigate the car's functions. ie. gps, hand brakes

Pros: Rezerwacja przebiegła całkiem szybko i sprawnie. Autobus dowozi z lotniska do wypożyczalni oraz odwozi. Trzeba wypełnić samodzielnie formularz online i załączyć zdjęcia dokumentów. Auto odbieramy samodzielnie z parkingu. Zwrot przebiegł szybko i bez komplikacji.

Pros: It was the busiest weekend in tbe Island so I didntget the newest car, however everything worked m, it had a great gps system tgat was already configured in my language and when I called to extend by a ay and a half, they did tgst without a hitch

Pros: There is at least one English speaking representative in the office , otherwise language is a big challenge in Jeju. Especially when we met with an accident there. Tommy from Tarma rental company rendered precious help during the ordeal. Despite that day being his off day, he helped us to liaise between office and the driver. Without him, we wouldn’t have enjoyed the rest of our holiday there. Thank you very much Tommy.

Cons: The staff doesn't speak English. They don't give you any explanation of how the car works.

Pros: Ease of returning the car and the bus driver was friendly and help us to load up our luggage to the bus storage. He even asked whether we were comfortable with the bus air condition while waiting for time to drive off.

Cons: The poor service of reception. I was very surprised that no staff accompanied me to collect the car and explained to me on where to locate the ignition button, lever to open the fuel cover, what grade petrol to pump, or brief me of any important things that I should watch out for. After they know that I was a foreigner. I had good experience in countries for car rental in Australia, NZ, Japan, Europe. The staff would accompany me to collect the car and take great patient to explain on the car.

Pros: The staff was very kind and helpful. The car we chose was a simple Kia small car. We found it comfortable and clean. The car rental is very close (5 min walk) to the airport arrivals. The pivk-up and delivery of the car was quick and easy. I highly recommend this rental agency.

Pros: Really helped me when I arrived earlier than my reservation and was able to leave with a car in an hour. Their comprehensive insurance coverage also reduces worries about car use.

Cons: No clear instructions on where to return the car. The NAV system directed me to the one way exit after car pick up and I had to go around again just to find the right entrance.

Pros: Had a puncture and luckily had WhatsApp contact with Tamra. They sorted a towing truck and kept me updated. Took some time on returning the car, but I received the paperwork I requested.

Cons: Keyless entry. Never driven one before. Would have helped to have some instructions but when I asked for help at the office they told me “you go now”. The shuttle bus driver (who incidentally found and kept my metal water bottle for me) showed me how to start the car. I had no idea about smart entry or even that I had to switch the car off. All very simple when you know how, but if you’ve never driven a car like this, how are you to know? Thank goodness for Google and the driver.

Pros: The car was very decent although with basic add-ons only, but the price to quality ratio was top notch. It hd a couple scratches, but all were dully noted on our renting slip. The drop off was seamless, as nothing except the car and car keys was asked from us :)

Cons: The staff did not speak English at all, nor were they able to understand our questions. We were second in the queue but spent close to 40 minutes in the facility, as previous customers also seemed to struggle with communicating with the staff. This has been quite surprising, as all we wanted was a standard rental, no add-ons, nor any issues. It just took forever.

Cons: TOUT Je déconseille fortement cette agence qui fait des heures de bureau alors qu'elle se trouve dans un aéroport ! Attention si votre avion a un peu de retard, cette agence ne vous attend pas et vous facture quand même ! Si votre avion part tôt c'est pareil, l agence ouvre à 8h donc il vaut mieux trouver une agence avec des horaires flexibles ! De plus nous n'avons pas trouvé la navette et avons dû marcher 15mns à pied pour nous y rendre pour trouver porte close pour 5mns !

Pros: No fuss. Just get the car and go. Drop off was also easy. Just make sure you take photos/videos of the car before you drive off in case of any new bumps and scratches.

Cons: The fuel not being at full confused us as we were use to having the tank full and then filling back to full upon return. We had to double check before driving off.
