Pros: I got a vehicle upgrade. Thy were there on time for pickup and drop off. Weren't too onerous with requirements.

Cons: Card machine didn't work properly. Car was scratched (which wasn't a big deal due to the driving conditions in ZNZ). Noises were made during driving which caused worry that it would breakdown (but it didn't).

Pros: Return of fuel money for 1st car.

Cons: 1st car had a bad battery. After first shutdown (after handover) the car wouldn't start. Locals helped us to get started. Thereafter 90min ride for recharging battery. Next day tried to start the car but battery was dead. Change of car after some negotiations with Surprice late evening. 2nd car was in good shape but low on fuel. Returning it at the airport (ahead of time) 2 employees wanted us to drive them into the city (I drove, they were passengers). Then they wanted 10USD. I denied.

Free cancellation with a full refund up to 48 hours before your pick-up time, Unlimited mileage, Collision Damage Waiver (deductible: € 800.00), Theft Protection, Roadside Assistance (in the country of pick-up), Contract fee, Third Party Liability (TPL), Airport surcharge, Free modifications, State Tax.
Driver requirements
Minimum rental age is 20 years.
A young driver fee applies to drivers under the age of 23.

Maximum rental age is 99 years.
A senior driver fee applies to drivers over the age of 75.

The driver license must have been issued by authorized authorities at least 1 year(s) before the date of the commencement of the rental.

Driver licenses will be accepted if issued in the following country(ies): EU countries.
Driver licenses from all other countries must be accompanied with International Driving Permit (IDP).
A driver license printed using a non-Roman alphabet (Arabic, Japanese, Cyrillic, etc) must be supplemented by an International Driving Permit.
Please note that the International Driving Permit is valid only if it is accompanied by a regular driver's license, is issued by an official authority or government-authorized organization, and is in physical (not digital) form.
It is mandatory to have a Local Driver’s Permit. It can be purchased at the rental desk at the time of pick-up.

In order to pick up the car, the following documents are required: passport, valid driver license, credit card on a main drivers name, booking voucher.
A digital driver's license will not be accepted — you must bring your physical driving license.
Optional extras and services
Available special equipment: GPS Navigation system, Child seat (2-4 years of age), Booster seat (4-10 years of age).
Prices for extras are shown on the booking page.

Adding additional drivers is allowed.
There is an additional charge for each driver.
Underage additional drivers are subject to both Young Driver and Additional Driver fees.
When picking up the vehicle, all drivers must be present and must provide valid documentation.


Delivery/Collection service is available only by previous request.
Additional charges will be applied.
Details are available from the rental company's reservation office.
Fuel policy
The vehicle is provided with a full tank of fuel and must be returned with the same amount in order to avoid additional charges.
Additional information
The vehicle must be returned in an acceptably clean condition in order to avoid additional charges.
Business hours
The supplier will hold the vehicle for 4 hours after your scheduled pick-up time as long as it is within their normal business hours. After this time, your booking may be canceled without refund.
If the customer is late for a return for more than 120 minutes, extra day charges will apply, in addition to any other rental charges.
