SGF Tunisia at Tunis Airport

Pros: The positive thing was that returning the car was smooth and quick.

Cons: Furthermore, upon returning the vehicle, I was forced to pay the airport parking fees myself, using my personal credit card, while the car remained under my financial responsibility for an unspecified period afterward. The company should have had an agreement in place with the airport authorities to exempt customers from such fees — precisely to prevent this kind of concern and to avoid any unauthorized use of my bank card.

Pros: Great service overall! New car, easy communication, no hidden costs. Easy and fast pick-up drop-off. Have rented cars in more than 20 countries and this ones with SGF in Tunis was one of the best experiences.

Pros: l'attente à la sortie de l'avion par un agent d'une gentillesse incroyable qui nous a accompagné acheter une SIM locale et indiqué la meilleure banque pour le taux de change (le plus avantageux de notre séjour) puis à la voiture au parking juste devant. Pas besoin de passer par un bureau ensuite ni en partant ni en rentrant. Notre meilleure expérience de location à l'étranger où on ne vous presse pas a prendre l'assurance spéciale et où l’accueil est vraiment chaleureux, encore merci !

Pros: The agent met us at the airport, was helpful and quick with giving over the car. He was also patient to wait for us to change our money and purchase sim cards.

Cons: There was not really much not to like, just that it was stated they accept AMEX which the card was rejected by their machine and the fact that we still had to place a deposit despite full coverage (which was not clear from discovery)

Cons: The car was dirty, wrong car was provided. Then said that ohh the car doesn't have enough fuel well the car had zero fuel at the start so I returned it as was given. It was meant to be full to full but instead it was zero to zero.

Pros: Both the guys who were waiting for us at the airport were very helpful

Cons: The car, a Susuki was good. As for cleanliness, it was a disaster especially from all the inside including the engine compartment. As for petrol ⛽️, it was handed to us empty with the alarm light on. There were quite a few scratches on the body work.

Pros: Service au top ! Malgré 2h de retard de mon vol l'agent m'a attendu et a payé le ticket du parking pour me donner la voiture qui était propre et à la hauteur de mes attentes. L'état des lieux s'est fait en 2min et tout était noté sur le croquis de l'agent, aucun blocage n'est fait sur la carte bancaire pour le dépôt de garantie, tout se passe rapidement et dans une transparence et une grande confiance de la part de l'agent monsieur Skander. Je recommande vivement SGF Tunisie.

Cons: The staff member who gave us the car, barely spoke english, was rude and couldn’t care less about us and good customer service. Also, the baby seat for which we paid for, was broken, old , dirty and in really bad shape. Not to mention it was not for a baby but a kid. It was not usable. A joke… then after complaining plenty a second one that was even worst was brought. We called the owner and he brought a new one which solve the issue. We lost 1 hour of rental. Need to improve service.

Cons: A deposit of €800 was paid as security for any damages to the car but upon returning the car in good condition it was promised that the money will be instantly returned to the account but after 4 days there is no trace of the deposited amount. The company is now saying that the money is not in their bank account but instead is held by ATB bank and I have to wait. I have no other option but to instruct my Credit Card company to claw back the money.

Pros: Good and small local rental company. They gave me a good economic car, perfect functionality for my needs. Everything went well with pick up and drop off.

Cons: they said they will cancel the safety deposit the following day after the drop off and they didn't. I got my deposit money back one week later when it was one month the period a pre-authorised payment is canceled by default in the system. So maybe if you rent the car for one week, you will get your deposit back in 3 weeks
