Pros: The agent when we returned the car, Anto, was very friendly and efficient.
Cons: Super high pressure to buy their complete insurance package, and holding blocked funds for up to a month. Why should Record-go make money off my money after the rental is over? Its ridiculous.

Cons: The hard sell on the extras . It made me doubt the reliability on their cars if they’re selling extras so hard (in case of emergencies/breakdowns). Furthermore they were going to charge me for every nick and scratch regardless of fault

Driver requirements
Minimum rental age is 19 years.
A young driver fee applies to drivers under the age of 25.
There is no maximum age.
A Senior driver fee is not applied.
The driver license must have been issued by authorized authorities at least 1 year(s) before the date of the commencement of the rental.
Customers not resident in EU countries are required to present the following document(s): International Driving Permit (IDP) in order to collect the car.
A driver license printed using a non-Roman alphabet (Arabic, Japanese, Cyrillic, etc) must be supplemented by an International Driving Permit.
Please note that the International Driving Permit is valid only if accompanied by the regular driver license.
All documents must be issued in the same country.

Deposit and deductible policy
A deposit for a tank of fuel is required upon collecting the vehicle.
A deposit of 80 EUR to 81 EUR is required for the tank of fuel upon picking up the vehicle.
A deposit will be blocked on the customer's credit card and will be released within 30 days after drop-off. A deposit will be charged if one of the following cards is used: Debit cards.

Winter tires are not mandatory in Spain.

Rental period
The maximum rental period per agreement is 89 days.
If the renter would like to extend the rental period, renter should return to the car hire office at the end of the rental period to sign a new agreement.
