Nissa Car Rental at Nevsehir Airport

Pros: Finding them was easy. Pickup speed and drop off speed was also fast. Agents were well-behaved.

Cons: Car was supposed to have AC. AC was not working in our car. Even though I pointed it out, they kept saying it will work as you start driving. They took extra money for coverage even though I paid it to discovercars. Also, they told me they don't return deposit until after 21 days.

Cons: The car broke down 2 times and they had no other car to give us....we walked back to town demanding a refund and they refused....our car was old and a piece of shit that never worked properly....we had to leave our car broken down in town and walk in 100 degrees 😢 for 3 miles to try to get a refund

Cons: They delivered a utility vehicle (Fiat Qubo) instead of a normal Peugeot 301 class vehicle suitable for tourists. The vehicle was not comfortable, the engine was weak, and the air conditioning struggled in the heat.

Cons: The car was in terrible condition. It was filthy, with the previous driver’s glasses still on the seat, and the check engine light was on. When we reported this, the representative claimed the engine was “hacked” and refused to give us a replacement, telling us to return the next day. After waiting for a supposed repair the following day, we were given the same car back. Overall, a terrible experience.

Pros: The car we picked up was dirty, check engine light was on the whole time, the need oil change light was on the whole time. We said something to the agent when we picked it up, he said not to worry about it. The tires were needed to be replaced, we got a flat tire on our trip and had to find a place to get it repaired. No spare in the car even after we asked if there was one. The GPS we paid for didn’t work. It wouldn’t stay charged. Trying to get the car dropped off was confusing

Cons: The pickup process included a long drive from Nevsehir to Goreme. The car tank was less than half when I picked it up, upon dropping off the car, one of the agents drove us to the agreed drop off location and filled the car tank to almost full in my expense.

Cons: I didn’t like it at all because the car provided by Nissa was super dirty outside and inside. The seats of the car were horrible. Moreover the accelerator died out on the second day and it wasn’t accelerating normally. When I requested the cloest address of Nissa’s office (for changing the car) on the phone with a Nissa staff, he wasn’t helpful or responsive at all. I swear to god I am not renting Nissa ever again.

Cons: This was legitimately the worst rental car I have ever had. The car was filthy inside and out. The process for pickup and (especially) drop off was ridiculous and frustrating. Most importantly, several mechanical alerts were lit on the dash on delivery, including check engine, tire pressure, and maintenance. When we called back to ask about it, the company told us that the lights "were always on and we should ignore it." Thus, I was constantly worried about the car breaking down.

Cons: No body waited at the airport although it was stated in the confirmation email. Took us 30 minutes to find a contact and another 30 minutes to have them come to pickup in the dark outside parking lots. The car was very old without maintenance. We saw a water temperature warning on the 2nd day and immediately pulled over at the gas station. Staff there could kindly looked into the situation and poured water into the tank. The tank was already dried up and the engine was about to over heat.

I waited an hour for 'meet and greet' service with much back and forth and unclear ETA from the provided, waited another hour while they completed the paperwork only to receive a car with over 154K km, dents and scratches throughout the car and an empty tank. Ultimately in the end, I took a taxi, went back inside the terminal to rent from another provider instead. Please remove Nissa from Discover

Pros: The car failed just as we got into a main road causing serious hazard to me and my passengers. No equivalent alternative car was offered. Battery was flat and breaks didn’t work. We had to book another car with Avis.

The pick up process was ambiguous as the representative demanded a deposit far exceeding what was stated in the DiscoverCars agreement (EUR 3.2k vs. EUR 350). It took almost 45mins before the he relented and went by the agreement. Pick up at was completed only close to midnight. Rental car had multiple dents and scratches. Airconditioning worked intermittently (warm air is fine but cold air isn't).

Had to call a number on the door and the agent (who claimed to be delayed by traffic, which we saw none of) told us instead to drive to the airport car park and leave the car there (with the key still in the car) and send WhatsApp photos to show him where it was! No formal handover / inspection of the car together / return paperwork. And then didn’t answer calls to confirm all ok. Really unprofessional.

Cons: The agent tried to sell us an extra insurance when I had discover full coverage. He was very persuasive trying to sell the insurance, asking me If I'd sleep well during the night. I understand that Turkish drivers are crazy 🤣 and basically we would avoid to pay a 3000 euros in advance in case we had a crash. Fortunately everything went well. I had no accidents or whatever, I just told him in Portugal we are used to crazy drivers.

I picked the vehicle in Cappadocia and drop off in Istanbul as per rental agreement for which the rate is higher as one way but charge me for tolls

Pros: It was the worse experience ever. The agents at Nissa tried to rip us off with a super expensive extra insurance, then took forever to give us our car. Adding the fact that they didn’t speak English and couldn’t explain to us the deductible fee and on the Discover paper it is also really bad explained, we ended up having a horrible discussion with them. There was no straight line to Discover to help was and that was very disappointing.

Cons: To end the process, they gave us a much smaller car then the one we booked with an empty gas tank which made us lose a lot on money as we returned the car with half a tank. On the return day, even after I told them that we would be at the shop at 7:30 in the morning, there was no one there when we arrived and we had to keep calling them so someone would come to get the car. We still don’t have our deposit back and I am just praying that it will actually be returned.

Cons: Hi, first of all when I wanted to collect the car at the car rental location, I was given a lower class Nissan SUV compared to the one I requested for which is a JEEP Renegade or equivalent. Than I was forced to take additional insurance by the car rental company for additional 75 Euro or else I have to pay 2000 Euro as provision for accident. I was left stranded at the Car rental site at Cappadocia, Turkey and was threatened that if I don't agree they will just rent it to someone else.

I have to ask around and walk to see him at the parking lot by myself to find him smoking and talking with his friends. When I found him he just laughed. For car returning, he said he would wait for us at the parking lot, but he was not there. The agent from other rental agency had to assist us with the car returning, since Nissa agent never showed up.

Cons: When i booked the car, i saw that there would be a Renault Clio for less expensive or a Hyundai i20 for more expensive. I chose the Hyundai i20 only to be delivered a Renault Clio, saying it was “similar”. Why did i pay more? The renault Clio i was provided had a major issue where after driving a certain amount of time the AC and the Radio would switch off. If i continued driving after that , all the lights on the dashboard would switch on and the car would give a flashing red/orange warning.
