Cons: I have no problem with Discover Cars, but would never rent from Nissa Car rental again. I waited an hour for 'meet and greet' service with much back and forth and unclear ETA from the provided, waited another hour while they completed the paperwork only to receive a car with over 154K km, dents and scratches throughout the car and an empty tank. Ultimately in the end, I took a taxi, went back inside the terminal to rent from another provider instead. Please remove Nissa from Discover

Cons: The rental car had some issues. While driving on the highway it was shivering. Something was not appropriate with the braking. Extremely highly priced for the car chosen

Pros: The car failed just as we got into a main road causing serious hazard to me and my passengers. No equivalent alternative car was offered. Battery was flat and breaks didn’t work. We had to book another car with Avis.

Cons: They didn’t even drop us to the right Avis place. It took us hours to connect to Avis.

Cons: The support given by the company and also the returning when the guy was pressuring me to suit to his timing.

Cons: Rental company representative picked us up from the airport arrival. The pick up process was ambiguous as the representative demanded a deposit far exceeding what was stated in the DiscoverCars agreement (EUR 3.2k vs. EUR 350). It took almost 45mins before the he relented and went by the agreement. Pick up at was completed only close to midnight. Rental car had multiple dents and scratches. Airconditioning worked intermittently (warm air is fine but cold air isn't).

Pros: Dropped off the car was quick and easy.

Cons: Lack of communication. I was unsure where to pick up the car from. Picking up process extremely lengthy. They told me to get their insurance even though discovercars documents explicitly stated that I am fully covered.

Pros: Customer relationship was good. They deliver nad pickup car on time. They were prompt responsive over whatsapp.

Cons: Car indicated addblue oil low warning after driven around 800km. They had to check this before delivery, we might end up by car broke on midway.

Pros: Excellent service, as soon as we arrived at the airport someone was waiting for us with the car and it was done within 10 minutes!

Cons: Drop off office was closed at the agreed time. Had to call a number on the door and the agent (who claimed to be delayed by traffic, which we saw none of) told us instead to drive to the airport car park and leave the car there (with the key still in the car) and send WhatsApp photos to show him where it was! No formal handover / inspection of the car together / return paperwork. And then didn’t answer calls to confirm all ok. Really unprofessional.

Cons: The agent tried to sell us an extra insurance when I had discover full coverage. He was very persuasive trying to sell the insurance, asking me If I'd sleep well during the night. I understand that Turkish drivers are crazy 🤣 and basically we would avoid to pay a 3000 euros in advance in case we had a crash. Fortunately everything went well. I had no accidents or whatever, I just told him in Portugal we are used to crazy drivers.

Cons: The car rental company Nissa Car Rental overcharged me for insurance. The car provided was not as per the request, they provided a lower category car. Also the car was very dirty.

Cons: I was supposed to be greeted at the airport, instead I have to wait over 20 minutes for someone to arrive after contacting two different numbers. Contract provided by Nissa rent a car but car handed out by Oguz Rent a Car. Complicated to seal with as it is not one company too many intermediates and confusion pertaining to insurance and coverages. I picked the vehicle in Cappadocia and drop off in Istanbul as per rental agreement for which the rate is higher as one way but charge me for tolls

Pros: It was the worse experience ever. The agents at Nissa tried to rip us off with a super expensive extra insurance, then took forever to give us our car. Adding the fact that they didn’t speak English and couldn’t explain to us the deductible fee and on the Discover paper it is also really bad explained, we ended up having a horrible discussion with them. There was no straight line to Discover to help was and that was very disappointing.

Cons: To end the process, they gave us a much smaller car then the one we booked with an empty gas tank which made us lose a lot on money as we returned the car with half a tank. On the return day, even after I told them that we would be at the shop at 7:30 in the morning, there was no one there when we arrived and we had to keep calling them so someone would come to get the car. We still don’t have our deposit back and I am just praying that it will actually be returned.

Cons: They were difficult at the begging inciting on us getting the insurance, and they asked us to pay them 10 euros for cleaning the car because we didn't wash it, however they didn't inform us at the begging that that was needed, neither the car was too clean at the begging.

Cons: They charged me 5 euros for a cleaning fee they never told me before. They gave me the cat dirty and still charged me. I. Felt scammed and now I fear for my deposit which I hope I will get back. The car was very old

Cons: Hi, first of all when I wanted to collect the car at the car rental location, I was given a lower class Nissan SUV compared to the one I requested for which is a JEEP Renegade or equivalent. Than I was forced to take additional insurance by the car rental company for additional 75 Euro or else I have to pay 2000 Euro as provision for accident. I was left stranded at the Car rental site at Cappadocia, Turkey and was threatened that if I don't agree they will just rent it to someone else.

I paid for an automatic car but I was given a manual car for the first day without any form of compensation or discount despite me asking. I was made to pay additional 30 euros for full insurance even though I bought full insurance from the DiscoverCars.com website and they refused to refund me when I brought it to their attention.

Cons: The Nissa representative did not wait for us at the airport gate, where every other representatives from other hotels, agents, tours were there. I have to ask around and walk to see him at the parking lot by myself to find him smoking and talking with his friends. When I found him he just laughed. For car returning, he said he would wait for us at the parking lot, but he was not there. The agent from other rental agency had to assist us with the car returning, since Nissa agent never showed up.

Cons: At pick-up we were told we would be sent the documents via email, and that we would be contacted later on regards drop-off. We called several numbers, and staff at hotels also made calls for us, but nobody gave us any information regarding drop-off. After driving around the dropp-off parking lot at airport, we found a representative from another car agency who helped us.

Cons: When i booked the car, i saw that there would be a Renault Clio for less expensive or a Hyundai i20 for more expensive. I chose the Hyundai i20 only to be delivered a Renault Clio, saying it was “similar”. Why did i pay more? The renault Clio i was provided had a major issue where after driving a certain amount of time the AC and the Radio would switch off. If i continued driving after that , all the lights on the dashboard would switch on and the car would give a flashing red/orange warning.

Then we waited another half hour them to drive us to their office to pick up automatic car, which was not the one we expected. Car was old and not very well maintained.

We made several more calls with same outcome. We arrived and sat just outside entrance to parking area and made multiple calls and again were told a representative would call us. No call. Cons: Car was not what I paid for. The car I ordered was a midsize sedan, and I got a small hatchback. The car I got had been smoked in. At least I was able to trade the car I was almost given, which was a stinky mess, with a car that was a bit cleaner. For less money elsewhere, I got a car that was new and clean.
