Pros: the car was new and good
Cons: EVENES (NORWAY) airport office was too small for this kind of large operation 2 front office personel causes very long waiting line in a small town airport building. I booked months ago but after waiting so long in line they said i have to wait min 45 min for return of a car class that i book to be able to have it or took a lower class and small one THAT IS INACCEPTABLE After i gave up 4 weel drive i could have a large car

Pros: I was upgraded from a manual petrol car to an automatic electric car. The car was almost new. I was lucky there was an agent on the parking lot who showed me the cars functions as I was not familiar with electric cars.
Cons: It was overall a stressful rental. Before the rental, I got scared by the overwhelmingly bad reviews on Google. No agent came to check the car before or after the rental. During the rental, I was stressed out to get a scratch on the car as it was almost new. After the rental, I was nervous about how much Hertz was going to try to extort from me. Luckily no extra charges than toll and parking. Just a lot of stress.

Pros: We got a new car in a perfect quality
Cons: Pick-up was horrible. We waited 30min in the row as 4th of the row. We still were lucky, because behins as were another 20 parties. Hertz was not capable to manage the demand appropriate. 2 person at the counter and an empty selfservice machine (were never ask for it in the order) are definitely not enough. Sorry, this is far from the golden standards Hertz is claiming....

A young driver fee applies to drivers under the age of 25.
There is no maximum age.
A Senior driver fee is not applied.
The driver license must have been issued by authorized authorities at least 1 year(s) before the date of the commencement of the rental.
Renters from the following country(ies): China must provide the following documents: Hertz Certification form issued by Hertz China in order to collect the car. Driver licenses will be accepted if issued in the following country(ies): United Kingdom, EU.
Driver licenses from all other countries must be accompanied with International Driving Permit (IDP). For driver licenses from countries not party to the International Driving Permit treaty, an official translation of the license must be presented with the original license. A driver license printed using a non-Roman alphabet (Arabic, Japanese, Cyrillic, etc) must be supplemented by an International Driving Permit.
Please note that the International Driving Permit is valid only if it is accompanied by a regular driver's license, is issued by an official authority or government-authorized organization, and is in physical (not digital) form.
In addition to documents mentioned previously, the customer will need the following: valid driver license, credit card on a main drivers name, Passport or ID card, booking voucher.
It is possible to leave the deposit only with following methods: Diners, Airplus, MasterCard credit card, VISA credit card, American Express credit card.
For the Luxury car group, a minimum of two credit cards issued on the main driver's name are required.
Only cards issued in the main driver's name are accepted.
The main driver must provide a physical payment card in their name with enough funds to cover the deposit to pick up the car. The rental company will neither accept virtual credit cards (e.g., GooglePay or ApplePay) nor someone else’s card (including family members).

Additional charges will be applied in case the car is crossing state or region borders.
Crossing the country border or using a ferry (traveling to an island) is forbidden.
